When ill with cold/flu do you resort to a Hot Toddy?

Although I have it with honey, lemon, hot water and brandy/whiskey.

You need plenty of vitamin c when you have a cold, not alcohol.

But no I stick with medicine and hot lemonade/orange

Glad I am not the only one.

No, when I was a kid and had a cold,my Grandmother and Mum boiled me lemonade.

I still do that on the rare times I get a cold.I don't really drink alcohol that much really anyway.

I haven't drunk alcohol for probably 15 years but even when i did i wasn't keen on hot whisky and stuff like that. Irish Coffee is minging too!:yuk:
