What's the best school/college trip you've ever been on...
..day trip/residential trip etc..what was your favourite one...and why..?..

Probably the day trip down to Cardiff to collect an award a year or two ago. The teacher fell on her arse  the train journey there and back was a good laugh aswell
|
A month in a little town just outside of Cape Town.
No parents, although I did miss them. 3day/night train journey there and back through the Kalahari was a tad tiresome mind. |
Whitstable for Geography was a good laugh

3rd year in high school we went for a weeks retreat to a massive house in the middle of nowhere that the school owned and the second morning we (about 12 of us) jumped out of the window and walked for hours until we found a town and convinced some man to go into the shop to buy us cider, we all ended up drunk and where having a great old time until the teachers found us.
They grounded us for the rest of the week :fist: We weren't even allowed to leave the house to do the planned activities along with everyone else but it was still a great week just because of the laughs we had. |
We went to Berlin one year, that was fun enough. Though a couple of years after I left they went to New York, which would have been awesome.
|
Does a trip with a summer camp count? They were affiliated with the school and they took us to Wales, that was great. :amazed:
|
Lake district with Geography
|
Definitely Morocco
|
Barcelona. One of the best trips of my life.
|
it probably would have been paris if my French teacher didn't ban me </3
|
^ I wasn't allowed to go on the school trip to France either http://i.imgur.com/UN5W340.png
Alton Towers was best |
the harry potter set tour
in media, my teacher managed to take us to it. best trip ever. literally cannot describe it aha |
Paris in year 8. The first three days were mostly educational or sight seeing which was cool. The 4th day was Disneyland from 10am to 10.30 pm. It was mostly empty at the start too. We went on space mountain about 10 times in a row as we just has to keep going round and queuing for like 5mins. Truly epic trip when you consider the laughs we had in the hotel too. Good times.

New York and Washington.
Were meant to be there a week but got stuck by the Icelandic ash cloud in Washington for a whole extra week, paid for by the insurance company! We got in the Washington Post and personally invited to tour the white house!! |
going to drayton manor was nice
|
Stayed in a Jewish hostel on the outskirts of Bruges when I was about 14 on a history trip, that was pretty cool
Went over to France on a ferry for it. I love ferries |
Probably the history trip to Krakow in sixth form, partly because the history aspect of it was really good and getting to visit Auschwitz, and partly because at that age you get a lot more independence, was great getting free time in the evenings and going for a couple of pints in a Polish bar
|
Iceland :flutter: (the country not the supermarket before anyone tries to be funny :suspect:)
|
Cologne in year nine  Germany's just generally a really lovely place.
|
When we went to Hadrians wall..the teacher that everyone hated fell over and landed in a cow pat right after telling us to stop messing about or we would fall over. That day was amazing :joker:
|
Got to be the Mediterranean cruise or the coach trip around France.
So much fun :) |
We went to Asgarth on a residential, I was about 13-14 our group lied and said we could read a map and use a compass, we couldn't and got lost for 6hrs.... the teachers were frantic, but we had such a fun time it was like a film or something
|
Paris :D three of my best friends got to go too (only like 40 of us got to go) so we had the best time
