Simon Cowell

Yay or nay?

Josy 21-04-2014 06:30 PM

Nay

Ryan57 21-04-2014 06:31 PM

Total legend.

Z 21-04-2014 06:32 PM

Ehhhhh... used to think he was hilarious, now I just find him a bit irritating and with his heightened media profile and the elevation of his music label to this "dream maker" status it's become clearer than ever that he really doesn't know what works in the music business, he's just had some very lucky breakthroughs. For every one Leona Lewis he's had five Steve Brooksteins throughout his career, he's not very good at what he claims to do IMO.

Jay. 21-04-2014 06:32 PM

I don't really like him, but he's funny, so yay and nay

Ramsay 21-04-2014 06:35 PM

Indifferent/meh
Jay., Z

ha

King Gizzard 21-04-2014 06:36 PM

I hate what he's done to the music/entertainment industry and he's vastly overrated in that area, but he MAKES X factor and it isn't the same without him from just a casual viewer point

Jack_ 21-04-2014 06:37 PM

The production quality of his shows are second to none and his presence on their panels automatically improves them so yay

He's better at TV than he is music

Natalie. 21-04-2014 06:46 PM

Yay

Yeah I think he's been responsible for a lot of chart dirge even before he was on Pop Idol and known to the general public (see: Sinitta) but he's at least got an eye for what's entertaining in the short term. Crap music manager and I don't think he really knows anything about what the public want to listen to, he's not a musical person, but he's got a keen eye for entertainment.

Livia 21-04-2014 06:47 PM

He's great at his job... but he's an insufferable cock. So... nay.

Sophiee 21-04-2014 07:20 PM

simon is brilliant.

thesheriff443 21-04-2014 07:29 PM

from wearing the mr blobby suit to being worth about 300 million, you have to say he has done well, talent shows did the same for him, what bigbrother did for john endemole.

I think it's probably because, in recent years, he knows he makes more money from all the TV crap. I heard his company was moving into films too.

He's just a "go where the money is" man.

I hate myself for laughing at you. Was it a yellow dandelion? Or did you blast the little white floaty fairies off it? I need to know.

Oi! I mowed a third of a bloody acre this morning and there were a few dandelions there with their white bits on... Admittedly there were several hundred squillion yellow ones.

You're very talented, operating your camera with just the one hand.
