Peaches Geldof's funeral takes place in Kent

I'm confused. If her death was "unexplained and sudden", and the post-mortem results were "inconclusive" how come they've allowed her to be buried/cremated before the tox results are back? Sounds odd to me.

Yeah, when we lost my grandfather recently, it took 2 weeks before they would allow us to hold his funeral because the coroner couldn't decide if they wanted to do an inquest....they would not issue the death certificate until the were satisfied his death was due to a fall he had in hospital. He was 96 and in failing health and we still had to wait....I would imagine they know more than has been released to the press.

Is it me or are there not big questions here still unanswered, like HOW DID SHE DIE, I mean she was only 25 and did not having any medical problems and was not suffering from any illnesses.
So what did she die of ? And when is this "Toxicology Report" going to be made public AND why are they burying her before the cause of death is established. The whole thing looks very suspicious, Drug overdose/suicide perhaps ?? |
I should imagine that if nothing shows up in the toxicology tests her death will be put down to sudden death syndrome.
As the coroner has released her body then all other tests must have been done and found inconclusive. Perhaps her being famous allowed her to jump the queue..who knows? Perhaps they are having a quiet week. |

2. she made a good living out of having famous parents and that living was made from people being interested in her life so people will naturally be interested in her death and what caused it. In general people are interested in why a young girl can suddenly die. many people are her age and many people are young mums. |
Odd that they've buried her before they know the cause of death - can only assume they do know but aren't releasing it to the public because it's unsavoury for her family.

The cause of Peaches Geldof's sudden death will be released in an inquest next week.
The mother of two was found dead at her home in Kent on April 7 with her son Phaedra playing by her side. The cause of the 25-year-old's death remains a mystery after her autopsy came back inconclusive. Toxicology tests have been conducted to try to establish why she died. A brief hearing will be held in Gravesend on Thursday (1 May). A senior police officer will read a statement about Ms Geldof's death before the coroner, Roger Hatch, reveals the cause of death. A full inquest is expected to be held in late July. Kent Police previously said they were treating the death of the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof as "unexplained" but "non-suspicious". Her funeral was held at the same church as her mother Paula Yates' funeral, with celebrity friends including Kate Moss, Jools Holland and Bill Wyman among the mourners. Ms Geldof, who had two young children with her second husband, musician Tom Cohen, died a day after posting a picture of her and her mother online. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/peaches-ge...3.html#UAoqqPW |
