Why is there no excitement anymore?
 

I've just been looking back at the forum this time 4 years ago (before BB10 started) and the forum was so busy, there was literally multiple threads everyday at this point speculating about the series, even about what grass will be in the garden ;orangu:

You'd think now with the ratings recovering and media interest increasing in BB again there'd be more excitement on the forum but apparently not :unsure:

We have nothing to discuss atm though tbf, as soon as we start getting some snippets of info it should become a bit busier.

..I'm not sure there has been anything like the same excitement since Channel 4 days, when BB first started though just about everyone I knew was talking about it and now I have no friends who watch it, which is why I joined the forum...

True, but there was nothing then either. It was mostly speculation but that doesn't even really happen anymore.

Hmm yeah that's true, maybe there just isn't enough diehard fans any more.

After so many series, maybe people are a bit jaded from discussing the grass and the fixtures and fittings and have just run out of steam.

I usually love the hype and discussing it, but it only really kicks in when there's less than a month to go and house pictures are released.

Oh please.. you know in every house pictures/bb eye thread these past couple of years there's always been the usual Back In The Good Days Of 2009 This Thread Would Have Been Swarmed With Replies

Well this is giving the topic its own thread rather than random posts in other threads.

The way you go on no thread could ever be made because every possible conversation has been done before.

apparently it's starting late this year because of BGT like last year's was

I wish it would just ignore BGT, and go by it's own damn schedule. Ratings be darned.

Before I don't care and after I don't care. It's only when it's on I actually like talking about it.

The forum will be ablaze again the moment we see the eye.

But yeah, when real information starts to come out, things will no doubt pick up.
