Who do you think will end up on the Iron Throne? [Will Contain Spoilers]
 

For people who have read the books and are up to date who do you think has the best chance of ending up on the Iron Throne? (not who you want)

Arya

Stannis will get his justice in the end but I don't think he will be the one to sit on the Iron Throne, he will just pave the way for Shireen, its allways reminded to us that Stannis is like Iron and he'll break before he bends so eventually I think he'll die probably to save his Daughters life since she is the only thing he cares more about then his Duty, plus the fact Shireen will have the massive support Stannis is gathering and Davos will fight for Stannis until the end

"It may be that we shall lose this battle," the king said grimly. "In Braavos you may hear that I am dead. It may even be true. You shall find my sellswords nonetheless."

The knight hesitated. "Your Grace, if you are dead —"

"— you will avenge my death, and seat my daughter on the Iron Throne. Or die in the attempt."

Daenerys - Honestly still think that she will die before ever getting to Westeros. Her sole purpose in the story was being the last remaining Targaryen, showing us the foreign cities, and having dragons... two of those are no longer true and the foreign cities have been boring since the first book.

Jon - Not sure what will happen with Jon really but I hope he doesn't become King, not only would he never live up to Robb but he has never even been south before..

Stannis - Will defeat the Boltons and probably win the North over but the show already seems to be hinting at a battle with the white walkers for him so I think that is what will be in future books and where he will die.

Aegon - Annoying little bastard, he better not win.

Euron - If he gets one of Dany's dragons like he intends to then I suppose there is a chance but outside of Theon and Yara the Greyjoys are pretty boring and don't deserve anything other than the Iron islands.

Littlefinger - Sansa will kill him soon.

Margaery - Well Tommen will die soon and surely she won't get married to a 4th person in the space of about 2 years.. Maybe Cersei will kill her or something

No chance - Roose Bolton, Cersei Lannister, Mace Tyrell, Jaime Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Gendry

Therefore there is only one person who can sit the Iron Throne, Littlefinger has taught her well and we can only hope that her older brother rubbed off on her a bit aswell

The whole point is, surely, that NO ONE will ever sit on the iron throne for long. It's all a big, ultimately fruitless, political game... No one wins.

Robert Baratheon sat on it for quite a long time

I think Dany will make it to westeros, but she'll end up sacrificing herself when the walkers come and her and her dragons die when they kill them or something

Didn't GRRM say that he only kills characters off when it can bring forward other peoples storylines? (Or something to that extent) that's the only way I can see him killing her off.


I'd say it'd be between Sansa and Tyrion on the throne

haven't read the books dont want spoliers and plus im trying to watch 2 episodes at at time so im a week behind at mo till the next one airs.
