I remember a group of 4 girls doing a tragic rendition during music for a performance exam so it's given me some quite humorous memories.

Think I was in year 7 or 8 when she came on the scene. It was at that time when all the American bubble gum Punk was popular. Blink 182, Sum 41, Bowling For Soup and all the others that just sounded the same.

the days when we thought we were hardcore for moshing to Puddle of Mudd and Linkin Park at the year seven school disco

(i even had those black shirts with the flames on them  and jeans with chains on them)

Yes. Hearing any of their songs takes me right back to being 11/12 and that anxious feeling of starting high school. It's bizarre.

I used to have a Slipknot and Nirvana hoodie, and of course the baggy jeans and chain were a must.

It all started in year 6 though when the most frequently asked question was "Are you a mosher or a townie?"

The primary school version of "emo or a chav?".

Yes, hearing her wailing makes me want to end it too.

Classic tune, though always preferred 'Complicated' myself
