Poor Lead Singles?
 
How often do you hear an album once it's released and think "why was this chosen to represent an album"

Roar is one that springs to mind, but Prism is pretty disappointing overall tbh

The album was weak overall, but Roar was the obvious lead, anything else wouldn't have done nearly as well

Love Rebecca, but Nothings Real But Love was easily the weakest song on Heaven. Diamond to Stone or Too Good To Lose would have been much better leads IMO.

DIL was sent to urban but pop played it, XO flopped in the US so DIL was seen as the lead

same over here, XO was sent to radio but they all played DIL
