YaYa Toure - birthday snub so wants to leave Man City

City declined to comment officially but BBC Sport understands club officials are not too alarmed by Seluk's claims.

Seluk also claimed Toure was unhappy last summer, shortly before he signed a new four-year contract.
Seluk says Toure did not expect a present after turning 31 on 13 May but was unhappy at being ignored by the club's wealthy owners when the squad arrived in the United Arab Emirates last week to celebrate their Premier League title triumph.

I hope this reason isn't true and is some sort of ruse by his agent to bag a deal or negotiate an exit to Barcelona as, if Toure really is upset because he didn't get a big enough birthday cake and a rendition of Happy Birthday the man will go down as being the greatest PL player who is the most pathetic.

He's just turned 31, I wouldn't expect this infantile behaviour from a 15 year old footy apprentice. Grow up, Yaya, you are regarded as one of the best player in PL, if not world in his position, champion again and earning one of the highest wages. Really hope at worst it's agent playing negotiator.

It's not even funny as he's so talented, it's plain right embarressing and disappointing.

There is something fishy going on with Toure. First the 'no one respects my talent, people don't think I am that good' comments, then the dining alone in restaurants now this.

£50 for a 31 year old? only City themselves would be daft enough to pay that.
