An essay regarding Ofcom!

Tonight a very rare occurance happened.... I left BBC1 on after Eastenders finished.

I was unaware they really showed anything else of interest even though I pay for what they show (or do I?).

So theres some drama on based in 1996 even though the fashion is so 1994 and so far theres been tits, drugs, offensive Irish comments, jokes about having a stroke and a lot of people saying the word ****!

Im just thinking I allways knew BBC had a totally different audience to Big Brother and assumed they were the ones to complain about Big Brother but are they? lol

who were the sad sad people calling Ofcom and making BB the most complained about show of last year even though it only had an audience of 2 million.

Is it the fans who love to hate their own show?

What is it that makes these people put down their knife and fork, push their Cheesy garlic bread to the side and pick up the phone to say....."Tonight I watched Big Brother and was deeply offended by"......

??

Im lost.....

Everywhere I'm searching now,
I'm looking in Cheries place,
Karl, Have you seen my Potato?
I'll know if you lie to my face,
There's soil all over your floor,
Through here, did Eoin race?
Karl, he stole my Potato,
it's been gone for over a day

He stole my Potato, Potato, potato,
Where's my Potato, Potato, Potato,
He stole my Potato, Potato, potato,
Where's my Potato, Potato, Potato,
Potato, ooh, ooh
He stole my Potato, Potato, potato,
Where's my Potato, Potato, Potato,
He stole my Potato, Potato, potato,
Where's my Potato, Potato, Potato,
Potato, ooh, ooh

There is a considerable difference between drama and reality TV.

How do you know it's old people? I would imagine it's younger more immature people doing it. Someone you don't like in the house doesn't something that could be taken as offensive? Report them to Ofcom and hope they get removed from the show?

It's a dramatic representation of a story though, you are aware of the content via TV guides and has been vetted prior to transmission... That isn't always the case with BB.

I don't know how that makes me feel. Surely if it was constantly breaking rules, BB would be taken off the air?

Its the fans.

Apparently no one watches it and to be fair it does only have a core fan base of 2 million so when its getting more complaints than The X Factor which gets 12 million viewers its obvious where they are coming from.

BB fans will be the death of the show as ironic as it is.

Short review of the essay:

Some errors (1 or 2) on spelling, paragraphing and language. Few punctuation marks missing. Maybe a little too short also, little more content would be nice. The subject of the essay is self chosen and acceptable. All in all, an okay performance.

Grade: B-

Sorry, i couldnīt resist the temptation, when you said essay... :spin::blush:

But yeah, Ofcom alerters/complainers do seem to be too butt-hurt-worthy at
times. Meaning that they having an analic personality disorder.
