Do you tend to pick your favourites on launch night...

..or within the first day or so..or wait for the housemates to settle in first and then decide who you're going to support..?...

AnnieK 24-05-2014 07:19 AM

I usually decide who I'm going to like on the first impressions...I've been very wrong before though

Jemal 24-05-2014 07:25 AM

*nods*

Natalie. 24-05-2014 07:25 AM

Yeah on the first night I decide but some change after they settle in

joeysteele 24-05-2014 07:51 AM

There are housemates I take to on the first night but I usually take 2 or 3 days to decide likely favourite/s.
There are some like Freddie,Ben Duncan and Aaron who became my favourites early on and lasted right until they either were evicted or in Aaron's case went on to win.

I pick my favourites on launch night but more often than not change my mind. For example, I loved Samanda on launch night for BB8 but after a day or two they turned boring and I hated Charley Uchea on the same launch night, but ended up loving her.

Sophiee 24-05-2014 08:55 AM

I always pick someone on launch night but usually after a day or so I decide properly after I've seen a bit of them then I tend to stick with them.

Sometimes, last year for the first couple of days, there wasn't anyone I even remotely liked. But then I started loving Dexter and Gina. So it takes a couple of days for me to work them all out.

Cherie 24-05-2014 09:02 AM

Rarely it takes me a week or maybe longer to find a favourite.

Jack. 24-05-2014 09:41 AM

No. It normal takes me a week or two to decide who my favourites are.

Lostie! 24-05-2014 09:52 AM

I always have a favourite on launch night (I always actually look forward to the ranking threads ), but that early favourite usually changes. Sometimes they even end up becoming one of my least favourites.

So, short answer: Yes I do pick a favourite, but they don't necessarily stay that. :)

Kazanne 24-05-2014 09:53 AM

It usually takes me a while,I have to suss them out first.

jackc1806 24-05-2014 09:54 AM

I have favourites on launch night, but after a week or so they probably change and towards the end I normally have one I really want to win.

I usually go with my gut instincts and have a favourite on launch, it's good fun supporting one housemate from the very start.. I sometimes begin to like one or two more housemates as the season progresses too.

Ramsay 24-05-2014 10:52 AM

Yeah, well in recent memory i picked Aaron and Dexter based on just the launch night

BBDodge 24-05-2014 10:57 AM

Usually settle on my favourite in the first few days.

Sometimes an early eviction (Anoushka, Steph, Rachael) leaves me searching for alternates.

Josy 24-05-2014 11:22 AM

No.

I need a good few days to see what they are like, work them out.

On the first night they are mostly, too excited, over nervous, too loud etc and tend to not be themselves IMO.

armand.kay 24-05-2014 11:24 AM

I never know who I like for at least a week the only exception is gina.

Marsh. 24-05-2014 12:30 PM

I never really pick a favourite.

A few weeks in one or two usually stand out as ones I'm rooting for or supporting/on the side of.

But I never really choose a favourite. I'm not bothered too much about who wins.

reece(: 24-05-2014 12:35 PM

I picked Deana then Sallie on launch night and didn't regret those :flutter:

Yes I have a first impression and think 'HE/SHE IS GOING TO BE MY FAVE', and sometimes it's been disastrous. Like when Charlie was my chosen one in BB10 </3. Thankfully I quickly realised he was a bellend.

Charlie :joker::joker:
I'll never forget his face when he finished 4th. he was sure he was going to win

BigBrotherfan4ever 24-05-2014 01:21 PM

It usually takes me about 4 to 5 days to pick my favourite, but with Aaron on BB12 I liked him from the launch show.

Me too. When he told Rebeckah that "you left your dignity at the door" when you walk in I was hooked.

Niamh. 24-05-2014 02:38 PM

Nah, it usually takes me a week or more to decide and I change my mind alot usually over the first few days
