S**thead is my favourite

Livia 26-05-2014 10:20 AM

Poker, Blackjack, Crib, Baccarat, Pontoon, Hearts... lots. I like card games.

Kyle 26-05-2014 10:23 AM

Sh**head is my favourite.

It can get right tense when your down to your face down cards and you have a potentially huge pick-up pile waiting for ya. It's rubbish with just two players though it needs at least 3 to be decent.

Livia 26-05-2014 10:25 AM

What the hell is Sh*thead?? I've never heard of it...

Jesus. 26-05-2014 10:27 AM

I only play card games that describe my sexual experiences, so solitaire.

Yeah, 3 or 4 is ideal and being a bit tipsy also helps, it's our favourite holiday game

It's a game where your given 3 face down cards and 3 face up cards on top of them and then a hand of 3. You can then switch your face up cards and your hand so you have good cards on your face up pile to remove later and then you take it in turns to lay down cards in numbers with certain rules that change order of play or cards etc. if you can't lay a card down you pick the pile up and start from there. The aim of the game is to get rid of your hand then you can get rid of your face up cards and eventually your face down ones. The last person left is the sh**head.

It's more complicated than what I've just said but that's a brief summation.

Kyle 26-05-2014 10:31 AM

Or you could just post a video like Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve did

Niamh. 26-05-2014 10:32 AM

If you've got a few of you round and like Niamh said your cracking out the vino and just having a chat or killing time it's a nice little game to have going in the background.

It's not really that complicated, it's basically Highest cards are best(Ace being highest) and the two trick cards are 2's which bring the pile back down or 10 which cancels the pile of cards so no one will have to pick them up and you get another go after you cancel the pile (so 10 is actually the best card)

Kyle 26-05-2014 10:44 AM

It can also be a bit tactical as well with the way you set out your face-up cards in the beginning or change the order round to make someone pick up a shed load of cards.

Yeah or sometimes decide to pick up a small pile rather than use a trick card

AnnieK 26-05-2014 10:48 AM

It also helps if you have a good memory and can remember what cards people have picked up so you can make them keep picking up
