Fugly ppl facebook scam?
I've just had a message from a girl who I've never had a problem with and she started off saying
'Caitlin aren't u mad?' And I was like what a lot etc And she said 'You didn't see these nasty photos of u?' And I was like what no? So said 'look here and posted a link with a website called fuglyppl (lmao) and had my name too I clicked the link cause I was confused and it just redirected me to facebook but tried to get me to log in... Which I'm not going to do Anyone heard of this or had the sake issue? Is it a spam/virus |
Was it definitely your friend talking or like a bot :suspect:
Sounds fake, probably steal your log in details if you had entered them |
Sounds like a phishing scam
|
Also the girl that the message was coming from has a virus that's automatically sending those messages, everyone on her list probably got the message.
|
fuglyppl is on site advisor as being dodgy too.
You should hover over links before clicking them btw |
I can't, I'm on my phone
I was thinking that a certain person found pics and posted them on a website so I thought it was genuine she's just said now it's fake, but it was really convincing... Just warning you all |
