She's a singles artist just as Girls Aloud were before she was a solo artist so as long as she produces the goods for her lead single, who honestly cares about the album? I doubt you could put together a good album with the three (!) she's already put out

Yeah, I think they count on her singles more than her albums, hence the attempt to try and up sales for her second single by releasing it in the middle of X Factor after the first one during summer.

Usually her first one does well and then the others drop off.

Then she'll probably drop that gig like a hot bag of sick unless it does well and she can barter a similar deal for the following year.
