Question to women on the forum

Do you get offended when people refer to you as 'she'?

I don't understand what's so rude about it

Josy 02-06-2014 12:31 PM

No images in polls, messes the forum pages up.

And it depends who says it and in what context.

Jessica. 02-06-2014 12:32 PM

No it doesn't bother me in the slightest. You would have to be a bit snobby to expect people to say your name every time they refer to you.

Not at all. I find it quite amusing when people kick off about things like that tbh

Kizzy 02-06-2014 12:42 PM

If the kids do I get miffed actually... I'm mother or your highness :hmph:

Vicky. 02-06-2014 12:43 PM

I have a friend that barks 'WHO IS SHE? THE CATS MOTHER?!' everytime she hears someone use 'she' to describe someone. ****ing loony...cant expect someone to use names over and over again in the same sentence

women are always moaning about something

"dont itch down there, dont wipe that on the curtain and come back to bed, why does tubekitty always come up on google when I type t something, dont waft that with my new cushion, where did my big candle go, have you been using my perfume as an air freshener in the loo?"

it never ends

I hate it when people use that phrase. Comes off as passive aggressive and sarcastic at the same time. Always the same tone of voice is used as well by whoever says it

Sophiee 02-06-2014 02:59 PM

not at all, I think it's ridiculous if anybody actually gets offended by a simple word like that .

Slevin 02-06-2014 03:11 PM

i dont see how anyone could tbh. never heard guys get mad at being referred to he. i havent anyways. nice chuckle just thinking about it.

Kyle 02-06-2014 03:14 PM

Can't be too careful with stuff like this, I got an earful for holding a door open for a woman once. Won't stop me doing it mind. 99.9% of women just see it for what it is but there's every chance you have a Sally sandy knickers coming round the corner who can't wait to rip into the next person she sees with a penis.

Slevin 02-06-2014 03:22 PM

it irks me when someone gets upset over stupid **** like that when some are just trying to nice

AnnieK 02-06-2014 03:22 PM

If its said with venom it's not nice but in ordinary conversation I don't have a problem with it

Firewire 02-06-2014 04:37 PM

Yes, I prefer to be called "mi Lady"

Kazanne 02-06-2014 04:40 PM

Sometimes it's not what you say,but how you say it:hugesmile:

Marsh. 02-06-2014 04:44 PM

Do you wipe front to back or back to front?

Kyle 02-06-2014 04:55 PM

Being called 'it' is incredibly annoying though.
