Death to the idiot love?

This years house seems by and large pretty intelligent, ambitious types, are we finally seeing an end of that trend in Big brother where we have to endure "lovable" idiots who are worshiped by the viewing public? I personally hope so. Thoughts?

chuff me dizzy 06-06-2014 09:03 AM

Every chance of an idiot been thrown in tonight

waterhog 06-06-2014 09:04 AM

great thought = great idea and long may it last.

Thank the lord!
It's disappointing that that some have already been on telly or have sold stories or whatever.

smeagol 06-06-2014 09:06 AM

intelliegence is a misconception. having a good job or afew grades doesn't make people smart. it just means they learnt to pass the exam or get the job lol
we shall see how smart these people are. but i expect they only think they are or they will act like idiots lol

i like loveable idiots if they are real,

need more freaks bring in the freaky hunchbacks and bike seat sniffers

I made a similar thread last night Niamh! Agreed! The cast has a really different feel to them this series. I quite like it.

Oh I don't know, I think Winston could 'surprise' us and be a moron, he had some slight comments last night, like when he didn't know Glasgow was in Scotland.

It seems Essex really need to invest in better Geography teachers.

Crimson Dynamo 06-06-2014 09:13 AM

It reminds me of the fecking Apprentice if you read the ridiculous biogs

Danielle: She is very business-minded and aspires to have her own successful business. She is currently trying to set up a business making a 'new type of Wonderbra' :joker:and is trying to secure investment. She is very focused and says: "I know what I want and I know how to get it".

Tamara:
Her dream job would involve her being the boss, while wearing Louboutin shoes. She says: "I'd fire people all the time". She would always choose money over love.

Steven
- pretty much all of his vid

Helen: Helen has very forthright views, and compares herself to Katie Hopkins. (and the gay wee boy from Ireland says hopkins is his hero)

Intellect? :laugh2:

Verbal 06-06-2014 09:16 AM

Interesting how people assume someone is 'intelligent' just cos they are dressed in a suit.

where did i say that?

Josy 06-06-2014 09:41 AM

Hmmm I'm not falling for them all saying they are 'Business minded' 'Intelligent' etc atm a few of them that tried that in their vt's came across as a bit thick pretty much as soon as they entered the house, that Tamara springs to mind and also Winston he seems a bit nice but dim so far.

Those opinions will probably change though

Well you said they are intelligent types, seeing as you've only seen them for a few minutes, I assumed you were basing that on their appearance.

Was just an observation, not particularly of you, but the view most people have in general. You put someone in a smart suit, shove a copy of the Times under their arm and people assume he/she is a big deal.

More their VTs really, what they said, what their jobs and attitudes were etc. I don't take too much notice of what they're wearing on launch night cos everyone is going to dress up

Northern Monkey 06-06-2014 09:52 AM

Oh idk,I bet if they put an idiot in there they'd probably still get some love from the masses.

Obviously she never considers her child, or she wouldn't be leading the life she leads. She's an abomination.
