Although I think the English players have done way too much media and endorsement work I also think, well if the cash is being offered....
He's a relatively lower paid player as goalkeepers always are compared to strikers so needs to supplement his income. Even if he never missed a save/ saved every shot he would still never earn Rooney's £300k/ week, so why not. He's one of the more recognisable and better looking England players essentially he has a secondary career as a model.
