More young English players must play abroad

Which top English players play outside EPL (or SPL)? It only seems to be English players in their twilight days eg Beckham at RM, INTER and La Galaxy

Only Brit is Welsh Bale from what I see , but no English from what I know. Wouldn't the England team be more balanced if we dug up English players playing in La Liga the way Klinsman has dug up German based Americans for team US.

Bundesliga is a great league but it doesn't stop a quarter of German team playing at the Emirates. It means those players can adapt to English game, can we adapt to German?

Surely some La Liga Spanish players have an English granny or English connections. To have entire English team comprised of EPL as all they know is homogenous and makes England more predictable with styles eg fast, poor first touch, lack of possesions ( the foreigners in EPL do this better). You can't say England players are in EPL because the EPL is amazing as La Liga and Bundesliga are amazing and yet we have the likes of Negredo, Navas, Arteta, Torres, Mertsecker, Pedolski etc.

Even Brighton and Hove has some Spaniards. Swansea's Michu was practically telling players at poor La Liga clubs to leave and join EPL

Imagine if we had players in decent La Liga sides who could hold up the ball and not be afraid to keep it. Look at how Brazilian born Eduardo plays for Croatia and how much flair he brings. Surely more likely to be sort of thing that happens in UKthan Croatia?

English people must understand that large import and no export of footballers will stop progress

The reticence of English players to opt for a life abroad is all the more baffling when you consider the situation at home, where a rapid, unhindered influx of foreign players to the Premier League has left them a minority in their own teams. Football Association chairman Greg Dyke believes the situation to be so serious that he has proposed flooding the lower leagues with competitive B teams just to provide young English players with some first-team football. Yet so few English players have discovered the far simpler solution: If the foreigners are coming over here and taking our jobs, why not go over there and take theirs?
Agreed - we need to see EPL as a league not 'our league', it's a free market and our players need to mobile.

Can't wait to see Tom Ince tear up Seria A

Don't buy it really. Spain have done it despite the majority of their players playing in their home nation at the time they won the World Cup in 2010.

This same excuse is said every single time. Woy is to blame more than anyone.
