Helen having regrets?

It all kicked off in the Big Brother 2014 house last night and with tensions having now calmed down, there’s a feeling of regret from some housemates.

The fights followed the announcement of this week’s nominations where Danielle McMahon will face the chop against Jale Karaturp and Tamara Stewart-Wood.

The announcement led to it a huge row Helen Wood and Danielle after Danielle apparently branded the other housemates ‘slags’, although she denied ever using that word.

In the heat of the moment many insults were exchanged, with Danielle telling Helen to “get some ******ing class” while Helen hit back: “Get a ******ing wash and hair wash you fat bitch.”

It’s fair to say that neither came out looking good from it all.

Speaking to Mark Byron this morning, Helen admitted: “I do regret it.

‘Everything you said to her face was fair… except the fat bitch,” he replied. “It got a bit personal.

“But you’re only human, it was the heat of the moment.”

He advised: “You should speak to her, just say to her I’ll be civil with you, but we’re different people and walks of life. But don’t apologise if you feel you don’t have to.”

Helen said: “I’ll apologise for saying some of the things.”

I'm actually impressed that Mark admits the "fat bitch" comment was too far. Still don't like him, of course. :D

Well it's all subjective isn't it?.. some people might take being branded 'classless' more offensive than being accused of being 'fat' maybe.

Danielle really needs to revise the meaning of the words lady-like.

Well, yes, with the difference being that Danielle actually tried apologising before hand

Nah I think she's more regretting how she herself came across than for anything she said to Danielle tbh

Wouldn't surprise me, she might have a pass to the final but it doesn't me that she won't be out first on the night

Mark comes as being alright in that clip :suspect: voice as at a decent decibel and he's actually speaking sense.

Just because someone attempts to apologise you're not duty bound to accept, had she left it until the tension has dispersed significantly there may have been a better prospect of resolution.

What a nice chap Mark is

I didn't say she had to accept, it just comes across hypocritical that she was told to 'shove her opinion up her arse' but now Helen is contemplating apologising? Helen said to Danielle in front of everybody 'why would you want to apologise to somebody who has "no class"'.. well, in turn, why would she want apologise to somebody who she deems to be an unkempt 'fat bitch'?

Mark comes across quite nice in this clip. Helen got annoyed, spouted off and now she has calmed down regrets some things she said.

I know you didn't jake...
A considerable amount of time has elapsed, it takes time to process information and during a confrontation if you do say something spontaneously, then when you rationalise it you realise that it could have been handled better sometimes yes.
They both fired insults as you say, and they were both hurtful.

Helen is awful, she called her a fat bitch the FIRST time. And then Danielle was classy & went to apoligise to her regardless, and Helen became even worse.

3.12pm: Helen is offering Danielle some constructive criticism. There's no way in the world that this could go wrong

Helen went to ask Danielle for clarification of what was being rumoured behind her back. Instead of simply telling Helen "No, I didn't say that" or whatever she chose to take the it into an argument and onto the next level.

Then Stephen enters the room and she kicks off about him.

Helen went too far but Danielle kicked off first, hence the reason she went to apologise.

How you can label either of them "classy" is baffling to me.

Let's face it Danielle only apologized so she could get rid of the drama, I'm glad Helen didn't accept her apology then but it's good she's going to do it today.

yeah it depends on what type of person you are as to how offended you get by individual things really.
they probably both said things that crossed the line but I hope helen doesn't back down too much because I like her being a bitch :D.
