They could put live feed on the apps and website uncensored

But channel 5 refuse to do this for us, they dont want us to watch the live feed, we know full well that there all set up and internet ready to put a live feed on the apps and website, the live feed still gets moniterd 24 hours a day, they have a full legal team they just dont want to let us watch it. :nono:

You think they'd put a few hours on the website to get us hooked so we all **ck the football off but they still refuse too, well when they've only got 950k veiwers watching tonights show while the footballs on let it be on channel 5 and the producers heads that they sunk there own show.

Jarrod 12-06-2014 07:27 PM

We've answered this every single series. They don't want to give us Live Feed because they "want to focus on social media and the highlights show"

Other than that, I can't think of any reason other than it's just not financially viable for them to run a 24 hour live feed.

Marsh. 12-06-2014 07:29 PM

Because they want it to be a Towie like show. They don't care for what Big Brother is supposed to be.

Josy 12-06-2014 07:31 PM

They cant even get the ratings for the main show or bots right now, I want LF as much as anyone but there's no way at all to justify forking out even more money to give is LF when viewers aren't even turning in for the main show, it's just not going to happen right now.

Marsh. 12-06-2014 07:31 PM

No doubt if they could just make it a twice a week scripted show, they would.

Marsh. 12-06-2014 07:32 PM

How much would it set them back to provide a feed though? They are presumably filming them 24/7 anyway.

It'll cost them with hosting fees etc. I don't think it's viable for them at the moment with the way the ratings are.

I get everyone wants live feed back but do we really need threads daily on it?

Marsh. 12-06-2014 07:41 PM

Yes, Johnny, fire a PM off to the other members before starting a thread next time. :hmph:

Yeah but the OP is talking about them incorporating it into apps and online. That cost moneys to stream.

The more people who want it back the better. Big Brother NEEDS live feed.

Jake. 12-06-2014 07:42 PM

What I don't get is, last year Ben Frow said that the 2hr nightly feed wasn't 'going anywhere' given how well it was doing, yet before BB15 had began they had made their minds up anyway

Yes, that's what I meant.

They are already filming them so how much would it cost them to broadcast on the website?

I'd be happy with those 2-3 hours in the evening like last year. Surely that would bring in decent enough ratings for 5*. I can't imagine it's a very popular channel as it is.

The petitions never seem to do that well though.

Jake. 12-06-2014 07:45 PM

Well that escalated quickly http://i.imgur.com/ib4oDmX.png

Are they really filming them 24/7 though? Without Live Feed they're probably just setting up situations at certain times and only filming at those times.

There's no way to tell without live feed is there?

They moan about not being able to afford to provide live feed yet they pay Rylan thousands to act like BOTS is the Rylan Show each night.

Has an actual petition ever been sent? How many supporters did it get? Just the population of DS and TiBB?

Alf 12-06-2014 07:50 PM

They would rather spend money on arguably the worst TV show that as ever existed giving a wage to a guy who is incompetent at hosting a TV show, and appearance fees to Z list celebrities.

Around 200 or something if that. Someone was started one a few years ago though. But it was one of those crappy petition sites lol
