Should there be a Team GB?
 

International football is a very competitive sport as we all know. It is a sad state of affairs when no one has any expectation that the England team has a chance of winning the world cup.

I think that there should be a 'Team GB' so that the national team would include the best players from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. At the Olympics there was a Team GB and it did very well. I don't see why this is not adopted in football also.

How many more hopeless world cup tournaments are England going to play before someone realises that this is not the way?

Guess that's one way the Scots, Welsh and Irish can qualify for a major tournament consistently.

We are too good to be associated with those lesser countries I'm afraid
