Jessie Ware has premiered her new single "Tough Love" on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show. It was written by Ware and BenZel (the duo of Benny Blanco and Two Inch Punch) and produced by BenZel. Listen to it below.

BenZel also executive produced Ware's new album. The follow-up to 2012's Devotion, which will be out via PMR Records/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope, doesn't have a release date yet. But the "Tough Love" single will be out August 3 in the UK. (No U.S. release date has been set yet.)

In a press release, Ware describes the making of "Tough Love" as "me experimenting with my voice and having fun with it."

In our new interview with Ware, she reveals that she's working with Miguel, Ed Sheeran, Julio Bashmore, Dave Okumu, Kid Harpoon, James Ford, and Nineteen85 on the album.

For Tough Love, Ware worked primarily with executive producersBenZel, aka London post-bass producer Two Inch Punch and mega-producer Benny Blanco (Rihanna, Katy Perry). Along with Devotion co-conspirators Dave Okumu, Julio Bashmore, and Kid Harpoon, she also enlisted Miguel, Arctic Monkeys producer James Ford, Toronto’s Nineteen85 (who co-produced Drake’s “Hold On We’re Going Home”), and Ed Sheeran, who’s helped write singles for Taylor Swift and One Direction in addition to being a solo artist.

She's got her work cut out to make a record as good as "Devotion" again, but somehow I think she'll do it. Really excited for this.
