Has Granny P Peaked?

Dunno, after a clip of today she seems cooler with Jale, and her 'highlight' of last nights show was having a 2 hour long bath. I know people say she's a huge character, what else could she bring?

reece(: 18-06-2014 12:42 AM

Mutha P has planted her seeds for now, I can't see her doing much more this week. She might go into Head Honcho mode again if she stays but Helen has taken that from underneath her feet atm.

She seems to have retreated to the bathtub this week.

Josy 18-06-2014 12:43 AM

I think the crowd reaction shook her up a lot more than she let on tbh or it could be part of her plan to stay in the background this week, avoid eviction then go mental

Jack_ 18-06-2014 12:44 AM

After tonight's show finished I did think to myself 'she hasn't had much airtime today, I wonder if she's settling down a bit and it wouldn't be so bad if she went after all ' but then I realised there's perhaps a chance they're giving her an invisible edit to maybe weaken the amount of votes she's going to get. Would seem a little silly though since there's no way she's staying

I think she has more to give personally and I could actually see her changing as the weeks went on, but sadly voters aren't going to give her that chance. I mean why would they when we have Ash and Marlon to bore us to tears all summer? Riveting :flutter:

Hofman 18-06-2014 12:46 AM

Yep, she is definitely changing her tactics for fear of the crowds. For now anyway.

Jake. 18-06-2014 12:46 AM

If Jack's post wasn't so long then I'd sig it

BigBuk 18-06-2014 12:48 AM

She's obviously trying to lie low to avoid eviction which unfortunately for her will probably not be enough.

On a side note, I reckon she would of looked about 80 after being in a bath for 2 hours and she's already got wrinkles which makes it worse.

The prospect of that is depressing

Josy 18-06-2014 12:48 AM

Couldn't the same be generally said about Ash and Steven then going by your post? if they were given a chance and were given as much airtime as Pauline had the first week then they couldn't potentially become really 'entertaining' too?

Sorry meant to quote you there Jack

Steven, I can agree with. I think it's pretty clear what type of character Ash is though and I think that he's got the depth of a shallow end of a pool

reece(: 18-06-2014 12:50 AM

Not Jack_ forgetting to mention Marlon because he's that invisible.

Hofman 18-06-2014 12:50 AM

Steve and Ash are totally devoid of any interesting character at all, I'll give Pauline that, she has got personality

Jack_ 18-06-2014 12:53 AM

HANG on wait S**T I meant Marlon not Steven  it's because in my head at that point I was thinking about people on here thinking Steven's boring when he isn't

I like him. I meant Marlon lmao

The issue with Marlon is that nobody has a strong enough opinion about him to vote him out over someone else. Unless he does something really bad or stupid he may sleep his way into the final. He's obviously not gonna win though.

They'd be given airtime if they were actually doing noteworthy things though, it annoys me that we have to trust the edit because there's no live feed but I hate it when people go 'well they could be really entertaining for all we know!!!!'. Unfortunately the edit is all we have, we can't just keep people around based on stuff they might be doing that we aren't seeing

They can show less of Pauline if they've got other things to make up for it (Jale and Chris, Toya and Christopher etc)

Is your sig for real?

1) You actually voted for Sam and wanted him to win?
2) You accept you were wrong?

I just went from being appalled to being delighted within the space of eleven words :flutter:

Sam was a terrible HM.

Might seem really harsh but I can only see his disability being the main factor in him winning as he didn't offer anything as a HM.

fitz2k2 18-06-2014 01:28 AM

don't worry Pauline will explode give it few more weeks/plus Pauline is a goner.the boos this Friday will be massive

Hofman 18-06-2014 01:37 AM

I'm not a P fan by any means, but I hope she doesn't get boo'd badly, she is still a person with feelings.

When I did eviction night the boo's were horrendous and much louder than it seemed on the TV.

Brother Leon 18-06-2014 01:54 AM

I love how quick people are to say that a HM needs to stay in to save a series or how quick bores are labeled....happens every year and every year the claims are proved to be silly. Oh and Marlon seems to be the only one that isn't so firmly up the Pauline group's backside so obviously he's going to have less airtime this early on.

I don't exactly find a group of people gossiping and bitching about someone together entertaining. If I want to see that I'll hang out with my GF's friends.

Marsh. 18-06-2014 02:07 AM

Not "bringing drama" means someone is as deep as the shallow end of a pool?

Your not wrong.

The school yard bitch mentality is dull and shallow. How anyone can find that entertaining for any length of time astounds me.

..I think it's also interesting that she does seem to have 'mellowed' a little and in such a short time and that could be to do with the chants on Friday but maybe also with some personalities, having the 'power' could bring out certain things and in Pauline's case, not very good things and quite extreme and now she hasn't got it anymore, she's become more balanced..the power thing is quite interesting Jack...

Fish_Fingers 18-06-2014 04:14 AM

In all honestly, I was glad to have a break from her on the HL show.

Macie Lightfoot 18-06-2014 04:48 AM

Pauline peaked with her VT tbh
