[Conservative MP Michael Fabricant is under fire for tweeting about

He made the comment about journalist, commentator and author

He has Now said sorry to her

Kizzy 20-06-2014 10:59 AM

What a ridiculous thing to tweet, his 'apologies' are nothing but condescension either... I love Yasmin Alibhai-Browns take on everything. She's so honest and never sugars the pill,
No wonder the word vomit politicians dislike her.

Yes she is good,

Last night on Ch4HDNews
she had a fight with Rod Liddle.

Thats what made this back bencher tweet etc.

Livia 20-06-2014 11:06 AM

I'd quite like to punch her myself. Stupid thing to tweet but I can totally see where he was coming from.

She is now saying he will make others do it.
Wants the PM to do something

arista 20-06-2014 11:16 AM

Janet Street Porter
has just said she will debate the MP on Loose Women
which has Jordan as guest

Saying you want to hit people you disagree with is I think the least political way of expressing your opinion, so for a politician it's particularly bad.
You would expect a comment like this from some ignorant thug, Cameron won't do anything though... he loves his bully boys.

Lets see if its the Mirrors Saturday Front Page

Kizzy 20-06-2014 11:45 AM

Or the sun... When Cameron admits his MPs are biggoted bullies I will take a pic of Ed holding the front page and personally post them through the door of every household in the UK

Me. I Am Salman 20-06-2014 05:44 PM

so he apparently also retweeted a post about wanting her deported
sack it

joeysteele 20-06-2014 05:45 PM

How do MPs of any party not realise they can never avoid all the publicity that doing something like this will inevitably bring.
However, for goodness sake what a brainless thing to do to threaten to punch a woman in the throat from his priviliged position.

Whether a joke or not this has to be 100% unacceptable behaviour from anyone elected to serve the public.
Really people like him would be better for themselves, the voters and their parties by not being in parliament at all.

Another tory twat under a thinly-disguised veil of buffoonery... thank god he's not the mayor of London or anything.

Kizzy 22-06-2014 11:05 AM

Someone on FB said he looked like the lovechild of Katie Hopkins and Boris Johnson :joker:

I normally agree a lot with you Nedusa but sorry I wouldn't want to punch her in the throat, mind you I wouldn't want to punch anyone anywhere anyway.
Not a very civilised thing to say one would like to do in my book.

Kizzy 23-06-2014 02:09 PM

I hope you're not expecting me to find your glib comments funny?
They're just distasteful.

Have you had a sense of Humour by-pass ??

Kizzy 23-06-2014 02:53 PM

There's plenty of threads to 'joke' on, I don't find jokes about assaulting women funny either frankly.

No I don't think it's funny.. but to be fair he wasn't actually going to attack her I mean he is an M.P

The remark was inflammatory I agree, a bit like her comments live on air with Richard Bacon when she made a racist comment and was asked if it was racist and she defended her own racist comment.

Or the time when she accused Nigel Farage of being a racist

Or the time she on air told Rod Liddle the editor of the Spectator magazine that he is the most vile and loathsome creature she has ever met.

There are many other examples of this stupid woman's mixed up view of Multi Cultural Britain.

No ....I do not advocate violence on anyone especially not women BUT this woman is a total disgrace and needs to be neither seen or heard. :nono:

I'm not aware of the incident with Richard Bacon, and to be fair half of the country has accused Nigel Farage of racism.
I can't comment on what her feelings towards anyone from the spectator are either.
Whatever her views are, and whether or not you or I agree with them is entirely irrelevant.
The only comments in dispute are Mr Fabricants.
