According to the Mirror (currently unaccesable) Jean Alexander has died :(

Daily Mirror ****ed up, she's alive, but has been rushed to hospital.

The Mirror are the only ones reporting it, and the link is a dead end, I've tweeted a Corrie spokesperson to find out if this is a hoax or not, hopefully its a hoax :(

As far as I know she's still alive storyline wise.

Yeah she is still alive in corrie. I was just reading they tried to get her back for the 50th in 2010 but she declined.
