The Constant Bitching

The bitchiness is ruining the series.

Not even exaggerating here but I think people are sick of the constant bitching that's been going on, the house needs some fun and not forced into it but fun that happens naturally, we don't even know if the housemates actually do have some fun and laughs because all we are being shown is the contstant bitching, backstabbing, insulting. I'm not even going to go as far as class it as drama because lets be honest it isn't.

Watching the same thing from the same housemates every night is wearing the series down IMHO there needs to be a good balance.

I'm not sure about others but I want to see a bit of everything that happens from the housemates, laughing, joking, fun, genuine conversations (not all bitching), interesting tasks (this most recent one looks like it could be pretty good), NORMAL nominations, the hm's waking in the mornings, parties... I could go on and on.

I wouldn't have constant negativity like the arguing and bitching in my real life so I'm not sure how much longer I can watch it on a tv show.

I was reading elsewhere online and it looks like people are turning off and saying the series is crap because of all this.

Opinions?

Also I deliberately left any hm's names out of my opinion because I don't want this to turn into another hm vs hm thread, I would actually like to know people's genuine opinions on the way the series has been lately.

Absolutely agree with everything you said Josy - for me the constant focus on the bitching is killing this series and making it very hard to watch - there has to be a balance of everything to make it enjoyable. I prefer to see genuine HM interaction from the arguing through to the mundane chats, it makes for a complete picture of the house which I really don't think we get anymore.

Definitely agree with all this.

I don't even mind some arguing and bitching tbh it happens just not constant.

Plus the producers must think it's all we want to see because they try their best to manufacture it, take the séance task that we will see later tonight, that task and those questions were specifically designed to cause drama between certain housemates and they don't need to do that, a house with that many hm's will naturally have drama without any help from them.

erinp5 02-07-2014 01:17 PM

I agree with you Josie it's tedious listening to them all bitch ,every night it's the same show over and over again. I don't think we have been shown a normal natural conversation taking place with any of the Hms ,it's a back stabbing and conspiracy theories.
We were told this was the most ruthless and smart Hms ever to go in the BB house...joke.
If we don't get new Hms I doubt I will last the distance. I completely understand viewers switching off .
When a Hm comes out and watches it back they will be gutted that they wasted so much time bitching ,Summer of fun in the BB house this ain't

Well that was a great contribution to the thread :fist:

Its none of the housemates to blame, most housemates from every series have bitched and argued but the producers seem to think that's all we want to see when it's not, they need to stop concentrating on that side of things and balance it out a bit with the other things that happen in the 24 hours of the day.

Marsh. 02-07-2014 01:23 PM

Preach Josephine. :worship:

Brother Leon 02-07-2014 01:24 PM

Yeah. Ash/Marlon/Winston and Mark all tend to have a lot of fun in there, but we instead are shown miserable Danielle,Ashleigh and Helen or the negative side of The boys rather than their fun times.

smeagol 02-07-2014 01:24 PM

no big brother are ruining this series. with stupid twists not enough fun elements , just look at last nights show the whole show was on one subject who would be saved it was like watching a completely different programme.
who will be saved who really cares the outcome is the same as before.

The bitching is all down to bb. get rid of the vile helen stop giving passes away on night one. and bad twists. do something fun to break it up otherwsie its the same thing every day. they wont learn

Jamie585 02-07-2014 01:27 PM

It is getting annoying now.. Wish Ashleigh would say things to peoples faces

Niamh. 02-07-2014 01:28 PM

I agree with the OP, thing is, they probably do have some fun in there but they only seem to want to show the bitching and the feuds. Some new HMs might be a good way to help with this as well

Strictly Jake 02-07-2014 01:31 PM

Yep this series is not good at all. Which is a shame after last year as I loved that series. I don't think I will be watching for much longer

michael21 02-07-2014 01:33 PM

the thing is if you all watch it every night and channel 5 and bb get good rating then why would they changes any thing you all need to stop watching it for 7 days then changes will have to be made

BigSister 02-07-2014 01:42 PM

I agree with this Josy like you said I don't mind a bit of bitching but it seems to be all the time although last nights epi was quite good but I miss the parties the tasks the just running around being stupid pranks.

It's Helens fault as she has sucked out everyones sparkle.

jet 02-07-2014 02:10 PM

I agree Josy. Though I do like the drama I really miss actually getting to know the HM's better through hearing normal conversations and them messing around having fun. It's hard to tell what any of them are really like with BB pushing a somewhat one - sided view of them - Helen the nasty one - Ashleigh the bitchy one - Mark the funny one - Christoper the downtrodden one etc.
We do get glimpses of other sides to their natures but not nearly enough...

Yeah I agree with that.

I know they only have less than hour to fit it all in but they don't always have to post the bitchy negative stuff.

Kizzy 02-07-2014 02:12 PM

It's really ruining the series for me, they're putting too much in the highlights.

I agree with you and really most of what we have in my view had is hm's talking about noms as to who to save and the attention to all that in the highlights.

Sick of the 'meetings' as to same too and also the gossiping and bitching across the board as you point out generally too.

For me, this series has well lost its way and is becoming one of the most tedious to watch at all now.

Agreed Joey I'm still holding out hope for them turning it around though

hijaxers 02-07-2014 03:18 PM

I think its obvious from the lack of interest in the forum also this year - proving people are cheesed off with how this series is panning out - we don't really seem to be getting any insight into a lot of the HM's as BB seem so intent on the focus being Helen and what Helen wants - as most people detest her it becomes very tedious to watch night after night ( i almost don't care if i miss it , as its just more of the same ole so whats to miss ! ) We need a new HM pretty urgently me thinks !

It's Helen's fault that Ashleigh is such a negative bore and can't find another topic of conversation? Ok then.

muchadoaboutnothing 02-07-2014 07:09 PM

All the bitches are bitching about bitching but I wonder who the biggest bitch of all the bitches is bitching the most. On a serious note - it is a bit too much and has taken this BB series in a totally different direction, a One direction about Bitching.

Gusto Brunt 02-07-2014 07:13 PM

Totally agree, Josy.

Don't think I've heard one normal conversation yet.
