Poll: Was Letting Pogba Go Fergie's Biggest Ever Mistake?

Possibly the greatest MAN MANAGER IN HISTORY (NOT MANAGER) however Fergie made some of the biggest blunders ever (especially the last 3-4 years) but was Paul the biggest ever??

TBH it's hard to suggest otherwise.

BRB WYPOTY
BRB Dominating Italian League
BRB BEST individual performance of world cup against Nigeria

I said a year before Fergie released him that it would come back to haunt us and it has quite badly

Interesting article from Rio where he confirms which started the Pogba downfall "I think he left because he felt disrespected that he did not play in a particular game when a few players were played out of position in midfield."

The legendary Blackburn game where Rafa and Park played ahead of him smh

No, Fergie's biggest mistake was saying "Hey, David do you want my job ?".

Buying Berbatov for 30m and effectively ****ing off Tevez too. Pogba third just ahead of selling Stam.

Tarryn 03-07-2014 03:05 PM

The Tevez situation was awful. Also the way Fergie handled RVN my favourite player of those years.
It's a long list of players who Fergie thought should go as "No player is bigger than the club".
Most of the time I thought he was right.

David Moyes was Ferguson's biggest mistake ever, no contest.

Legend killer 03-07-2014 10:17 PM

Yet in this window we are BUYING ALL DAVID MOYES TARGETS Michaeljordanlaughing.gif

There are only 2 things that come even remotely close to the Pogba travesty

1. Letting Stam Go

2. Letting our midfield go the way it has which interlinks with Pogba

Brother Leon 03-07-2014 10:45 PM

Herrera had been scouted extensively 10 months before Moyes took charge and Luke Shaw is an obvious choice. Don't get your point.

MTVN 03-07-2014 10:48 PM

Moyes was days away from signing Reus and Kroos, true facts

Can GURANTEE you if Fergie was still here at best Luke would be warming the bench for no defence Patrice and Paul Scholes an Giggs would be in our midfield not Herrera

Fergie just has an ego the size of british airways.

alex_front2 04-07-2014 04:36 PM

No, at the time Pogba wasn't the real then back then. Some times players are best developed else where, even away from the likes of Fergie. Pogba was the one that got away, ALL managers have ones that got away.

I'd make an argument for letting Pique go only for him to become a Regular trophy winner with Barca or his inability to replace Schmichael (Bosnich, Taibi, Barthez, Carroll. Howard)

Wasn't the real deal yet a couple months later was getting games along side vidal a pirlo

Even at that age he was better then our whole midfield bar carrick and a damm site better then retired Scholes smh

Pogba was right to leave
