No vote for the next PH then?

Doesn't seem like it. Maybe they know Ashleigh will probably win it and therefore would be immune from the next eviction, something they don't want because despite her popularity and divisiveness, they'd prefer to continue to ram Helen, Steven/Kimberly and even Winston/Danielle down our throats.

I think I'd switch off at that point. Watching these people whilst waiting for Chris to obviously win doesn't inspire much interest in me.

Im so sad for you let me play you a tune on my tiny violin.

You only have 7 days until Ashleigh gets sent home you should enjoy it not spend it being unhappy sheesh so much negativity.

I think you've just about summed it up there.

Ashleigh shall triumph (The show requires it).

LOL No she wont but just enjoy the show dont be too hung up on whatsa name they come and go every year. :cheer2:
Be reet. theres another series in 5 weeks or so im a fan of the show not just some nobody that is on it sometimes for a few weeks.

Threatening to stop watching if x y or z gets evicted is pointless.

I'm not threatening it. I simply will. I almost switched off before Ashleigh's more assertive side emerged.

Your loss then if you cant enjoy the show and restrict yourself to being a fanboy/girl of a housemate and cant enjoy the show instead.

7 days remaining.

It's not so much I'm a fan of one person above the show, I have struggled to like anyone this year even more so than last year. I just can't watch a group of people I don't like at all. The only series I remember being worse for a gathering of ghastlies was Big Brother 6 which I did switch off.

I cant really argue with you about them being an unlikeable bunch this year its pretty crap.

Anyway enough is enough lets just get back to bitching at each other :joker:
I just like finding out what makes other forumers tick every now and then.

PS Ashleigh is a cow

Adamw92 04-07-2014 08:17 AM

They need to get a move on, are we even getting another Power HM?

TheElusiveChanteuse 04-07-2014 08:50 AM

It will be the boys, and Ashleigh and Danielle will be up.

Jamesy 04-07-2014 10:41 AM

Either the boys will be the next PH (so BB doesn't look sexist).

Or we could have a normal week, without a power housemate and normal noms. Almost unheard of these days.

They won't (or at least shouldn't) do that as there's still 7 boys and 5 girls and the house will be severely imbalanced with 7 boys and 4 girls.

As for them not interfering. That would be typical. Ashleigh is now almost topping the TIBB popularity poll and is infact topping the BB Spy popularity poll, but normal nominations will see her up and in a vote to evict such a divisive character is likely to go. Just what the show needs, a popular housemate who is one of maybe 2 or 3 who shows some resistance to Helen's regime going. Then what? Showmances? More Helen? Some twist called Armageddon that will later be renamed damp squib.

If I were them I'd either put the whole house up and have a vote to save to get rid of the housemates people care least about before the big twist. Or have the vote for PH which I think Ashleigh could easily win and then get a week's worth of drama out of her in that role, with possibly Helen even getting evicted (doubtful).

The other options ultimately leading to Ashleigh's eviction just seem damaging to the show imo. I know I will have had enough at that point.

Jamesy 04-07-2014 10:52 AM

Yeah I agree, there is an imbalance although having a girls week and leaving it as that does come across as sexist from BB. I guess the producers hope everyone at home forgets about it by the end of this week though.

It would be interesting to see Ashleigh in the power housemate role, I could see her doing some interesting things with that!

Yaki da 04-07-2014 10:53 AM

Nobody cares about so-called sexism. The voters are the most sexist people of all, hence 3 girls going first as per usual.

It's not sexism. There were valid reasons for all those WOMEN to be booted out.

There was no good reason for Steven not going out in week 2. Not even Pauline.

joeysteele 04-07-2014 11:11 AM

The power housemate thing is now starting to ruin the series too in my view. They should have kept it that no one actually knew who the power housemates was for most of the time.

I hope whatever happens this week,(since my phones have had a quiet week, not being used to evict any of the housemates up this week),that Ashleigh is up for eviction next week and I and others I know, can then happily spend near all that week constantly voting to get her out.

This is indeed the problem. Ashleigh has taken centre stage and divided the viewers. Unfortunately, if she leaves you're left with forum morons pretending to find the fraudulent Danielle funny, Jale becoming the most irritating female in there (which will produce "Ashleigh was right all along" posts) blatant attempts at them trying to rehab Helen, and Kimberly still trying to work out what sounds best re: her boyfriend.

Why the producers would put themselves in that position I can only imagine. But given that they seem to be trying to run the show into the ground this year, maybe they will indeed do that.

Braden 04-07-2014 11:53 AM

I really hope they do an endurance competition for it.

I disagree. Pauline had to go, even if it meant keeping Steven in :(
