At least the public complied with a regular wish of the forums tonight
 

Year after year people on the forums complain that the public continue to vote out the most entertaining housemates over the boring ones, at least tonight they voted out Matthew who has hardly had any screentime and doesn't have a storyline at all over the likes of Ash and Mark who have a lot of screentime and add stuff to the highlights show.

The public have been 10/10 this year.

From that perspective your right, though I would have like to have seen the conversation with Matthew teaching Mark about politics in the highlights.

I mentioned this in another thread actually, this forum is always got the majority moaning about the entertaining housemates leaving and then when a boring one is voted out they go mental?

Where was this thread when Mutha P and Dawta T went?

There's a difference when the "entertaining" one is creating drama by being crude and nasty.

we all have different opinions - and the forums were most against this eviction than any other in history, check the polls

Ash is the better HM tbf,Just strange how he stayed with all odds against.Don't think Matthew will be a big loss to the house though.

i,ll pop back in a few days to read all the wonderful things ash has done on the show

i best not get another warnign for speaking the truth , as rulues only matter to some usually if they like ash and hate ashleigh LOL

Yes that's a fair point but then everyone classes entertaining differently too, like I definitely never classed Pauline as entertaining and I was glad she went but some did and then we also still had threads saying that we shouldn't have voted her out because she was entertaining :laugh:

I personally don't find Ash to be nasty, maybe crude but a lot of guys are like that.

Well obviously I agree (hence why I wanted him to go and was happy he did) but I don't feel like this is well placed coming from someone that didn't appreciate the value of other entertaining housemates like Pauline and Toya? At least be consistent :shrug:

I'm not one of the people that complain about it, I'm just pointing out that they have finally done what the forums always want.

Personally though I wouldn't say it's a forum wide wish at all, a few years ago the 'support the big characters' argument had a lot of backing on this forum and I'd say we had maybe 60% of regular contributors on here on side but that has dwindled a hell of a lot in recent years and it seems to be getting worse series by series, I feel like I'm one of maybe five people who are consistent in supporting housemates based upon the same principles nowadays, the weight and support of that argument on here has been decimated

I always want the person I dislike the most to be evicted. Since Big Brother 1. Ash is no saint, but Matthew is a slimy weasel of a man who only knows how to look down his nose at everyone and bitch.

Ash only got plenty of screen time because of toya and helen. without them he be useless as Daley from last year

Mock, Benjamin, Salman, Zee (although he doesn't appear to be watching this series) are the main ones. And Hayden but I'm not sure if he likes Helen (pls confirm). All totally consistent

daniel-lewis and iRyan usually too and I know I could trust Patrick to be fighting the good fight if he were still around as well
