Why do the GBP? reward vile bullies and arrogant pricks?

Like Helen and Ash? Was it just because an 18 yr old Irish girl took them on and they couldn't let her win?

Otherwise, I can't see any other reason....

Josy 05-07-2014 02:18 AM

People never voted to evict Ash enough

Also Ashleigh was getting a bit too smug and bitchy some people just don't like that so they thought they would ruin her plan I guess.

Verbal 05-07-2014 02:19 AM

Can everyone stop referring to Ashleigh as 'the 18 year old' it is very patronising.

Ashleigh was beaten at her own game

Helen and Ash are not bullies.

Novo 05-07-2014 02:20 AM

The 18 year old Irish girl got to big for her boots and came unstuck

daniel-lewis-1985 05-07-2014 02:20 AM

No its because she's turned into a bitter little bunny boiler.

Very ungrateful and doesn't even want to be there, should we back a housemate and vote for her when she openly says she cant wait to get out of that **** hole or cant wait to get evicted and is going to smash up every camera to make sure she is?

Brother Leon 05-07-2014 02:20 AM

Last time I checked Im sure they evicted Toya last week, who was the most arrogant and if anyone was a "bully", it was Pauline so...

Yaki da 05-07-2014 02:42 AM

Conor was kept in and rewarded with 50k.

Helen is on her final warning but they let her keep her free pass.

The people who make this show are deeply unpleasant and it's no wonder the likes of Aaron (the first winner) and Deana will not have anything to do with them

billy123 05-07-2014 02:45 AM

Evicting Ash in the eyes of the majority of voters would have been seen as rewarding spiteful bitchy and bitter behaviour by Ashleigh.
You need to be capable of seeing it from both sides Jet not just the side you wanted to happen.

It puzzles me how people get so caught up they are incapable of looking at it from any other angle than a selfish one i.e. the way you wanted it to happen.

Yes a lot of people think Ash is an Arrogant prick but obviously those people must be outnumbered by those that think Ashleigh is a horrid spiteful bitch. Matthew was pretty much just collateral damage caught up in the middle lets not fool ourselves this week was Ash v Ashleigh really.

Helen is a 100% bully. I never said Ash was. He is not.

She's neither of those things. Or if she is bitter, then she's right to be. She's correctly identified the others as degenerates. But unfortunately for her, the viewers are more offended by someone who seems like a bit of an elitist than people who act like them - amoral people who can't believe anyone doesn't think life is all about letting it all hang out like a moron. That's the sort of conformist country we live in. (Diversity my backside)

The editing doesn't help. Matthew was asked why there is divide and he made it clear that it was all the explicit sex talk that it descends into when they get together and drinks flow. We have seen NONE of that. You cannot understand Ashleigh talking about how vile and disgusting the others are unless you put it in that context, and they haven't.

We do, but the side you're on is wrong in our opinons. Helen treated Chris like **** on her shoe on his first night. The first bloody night! When they were picking on Christopher she spoke of him having a face like a verminous creature. She repeatedly called Jale a slug, and occasionally added "with elephant ears" for good measure. She trod on something that people who are still Christians hold sacred and mocked Danielle for being a "Jesus shagger". Her behaviour when she snapped at Matthew was beyond the pale. And the only reason it hasn't got worse is because of all the warnings she has got. She is a foul woman who has nevertheless got people around her who will defend her and even encourage her.

Ashleigh is someone who is simply sick of it. She correctly calls them vile and disgusting (these are people who talk of fingerblasting women on day 3 on national television FFS - and this is the broadcastable stuff), and cannot believe the phoniness of others such as Kimberly and Jale. People seem to be obsessed with believing her to be spoilt, immature and manipulative when the truth is Helen is spoilt, the lads are immature and calling someone manipulative means nothing. It's like calling someone a gameplayer. It is a game in which you manipulate the situation to your advantage. That's all Ashleigh tried to do by trying to get Ash out. Suddenly she's the worst person in there?

Ridiculous.

I agree with you that it was Ash v Ashleigh. But the viewers knew that it was between Ash and Matthew and why they would put Matthew out just to spite Ashleigh makes me sick. They could easily get rid of Ashleigh as soon as she is up. Why make Matthew the victim of their bile?

But Ashleigh was the only one to stand up against the nasties in there. How can anyone hate her for that???

I don't understand it...

I think Ash is a nob too but on this occasion i was happy to see him stay because Ashleigh pisses me off more.
It's a crap situation to be honest voting for who you dislike least. The negativity of it all is rubbish.

It would be even more boring if we all agreed on it every week the forum is more fun than the show at the moment so you stick to your guns Jet and i will stick to mine :)

(your wrong tho  )

Yaki da, you speak absolute sense, but those who think Ashleigh is the devils spawn and who have 'warmed' to Helen will never change their minds. They prefer a vile bully to someone who can't stand many of the people she is incarcerated with 24 hours a day, and from what little I have seen in 45 mins HL's, I can't blame her.

Interestingly, I've had no response from those who seem to disagree.

"Bunny Boiler"? do you even know what that term means and where it originally came from?

Whatever else you think she is she ain't that. :joker:

I think people on here just dish out insulting things without knowing what they mean.

PLEASE, don't tell me you think Ashleigh secretly likes Ash and is jealous that ex prostitute Helen has snapped up that lovely hunk of manhood so hates them both? :joker::joker:

Why does she have an attitude problem? must she join Jale and Kimberly in worshiping Ash and Helen? is she not allowed to be her own woman?

She can be whatever she wants to be but it seems she has chose to be a sour faced corner dweller with nothing but spite and bitchiness coming out of her. If thats what you see as the behaviour of a strong independent woman then i dont know what to say Videostar.

edit:In answer to your question i dont know why she has an attitude problem you would have to ask her.

And Ash is abusive to people and is arrogant, so, which is worse.?

I'd say Ash.

Anyway, Ashleigh wasn't up for eviction this week, Ash was.

I think Ash is a nob like a lot of people do but not as vile As Ashleigh which is why Ash stayed last night people just didnt want to see the bitch get her own way.

How is Ash not as vile as Ashleigh, I just don't get it.

Ash wasn't up for eviction against Ashleigh last night.

I know Ashleigh can be a mood killer but at least she is true to her feelings about the others...and I still say the BB editing is not being fair to her, im certain she has fun as well in there, but they choose to only show her bitching.

But think, from the things we've seen (and that's all we have to go on) we have sen Ashleigh bitch about Ash and Helen, but we have seen Ash and Helen bitch about nearly everyone, we have seen Ash call a woman a "maggot" we have seen Helen call the same person a "slug" we have seen them both get very nasty to HM's, telling them to shut up and we have seen Helen even threaten to hit another HM.

So on average, Ashleigh isn't the badegg in that house.

Get Ash out and remove Helen and I promise you Ashleigh, and the others, will be a lot happier...as seen when they had a party while Helen was locked in the task room.

billy123 05-07-2014 04:29 AM

I suppose you could just rip it down to its absolute basics and call it Arrogance v Bitchiness and for me you can tell an Arrogant person to **** off and tell them you want nothing to do with them and thats the end of it whereas someone that is hell bent on bitching about you can be told to **** off and you no longer want anything to do with them but they will continue to bitch about you which is far more poisonous and vindictive as it will continue as they try and turn people against you.
I know which i find more horrid.
That's my opinion you can have yours.
