Is BB on too late?

Personally I think so. It should always be on at 9.00, followed by BBBOTS at 10.00.(or even 8.00 and 9.00,even better). As it is I have given up watching BBOTS because midnight is just too late to be up watching stuff like that. I watch it on playback the next day.

Patricia4 07-07-2014 11:38 AM

I like it at 9pm then BOTS at 10pm

Kizzy 07-07-2014 11:41 AM

Me too, hate it on at 10, then if you want to discuss it on here there's not as many on and you just get several random gifs of black women as a response to anything

I much prefer it at 9 later than that and I fall asleep and have to watch it back the next day by which time I've been on here and caught up anyway!!

Would much prefer this as well, if you want to watch BOTS you're up till 12am on a week night when alot of people have work the next morning, then they put it on at 9 at the weekend which is totally arse ways round

BBUKAUSFAN 07-07-2014 11:45 AM

i prefer it that its on later because that means there is less censoring of what we get to see in terms of swearing, language ect.

Crimson Dynamo 07-07-2014 11:46 AM

11 is way too late for me. I like 9 and 10 slots

Pete. 07-07-2014 11:46 AM

don't mind late night BOTS

Marsh. 07-07-2014 11:54 AM

Not 8. :nono:

How watered down do you want it?

I dont mind it on late as I'm on summer holiday, but 9 is better, then BBOTS should follow on after. I won't watch BBOTS if Ive got to get up at 6.30 the next day.

Marsh. 07-07-2014 12:03 PM

They need to cut down the number of BOTS episodes, it's cack as it is.

Or replace it with a show at teatime (the old OK!TV slot) with more of a BBLB format. The Big Mouth format is sh*te.

JohnnyBB 07-07-2014 12:03 PM

Bots should be on at 6pm followed by big brother at 9pm

Verbal 07-07-2014 12:06 PM

I prefer it when it is on at 9pm, especially during the week. As I have to get up for work at 5am.

billy123 07-07-2014 12:07 PM

It is on at the same times it always has been so its not a problem. Infact if i think back to BB1 im sure some nights it might have just been a 20 minute update shown at 11pm and it was a roaring success.

That's a good call, there is and always has been a void between 5-7pm TV for people who don't want to watch news or the 1500th repeat of big bang theory.

For BB1 it was a totally new concept that had never been done before, it was edgy, it was mainly trying to be quite a serious show. It has moved on since then.

The majority of the viewership these days wouldn't give it the time of day if it was still the same as it was for BB1.

Pete. 07-07-2014 12:11 PM

no late night bots slays

We need another show at 6pm

Beso 07-07-2014 12:11 PM

It is getting to the stage where they need to just show it in a 3 hour special on a Friday or Saturday night.

Maybe the type of viewers that C5 wants to target are the problem they have adapted the show to appeal to tweenies and towie/geordie shore type viewers and lost/left behind a winning formula trying to chase advertisers that will pay a bit more to display their ads for a show targeted at young people.

It reeks of cutting your nose off despite your face to me i dont see it as moving on i see it as profit chasing at the cost of what made the show a success in the first place.

They have messed with the original concept, but I don't think it has had a detrimental effect on the entertainment of it (not to me anyway). I normally would go to put the kettle on when they would do those its a knockout style stupid games. They were crap.

It wasn't a massively successful show to start with was it? I thought that's why Channel 4 got rid of it.
