I sincerely hope you are never down on your luck arista with people looking down on you from their ivory tower. You're right, you are breaking no laws but a little but of compassion wouldn't hurt. So many people are on their arses, it's quite easy to get into a spiral of debt and end up like this.....quite often without a drink problem

Even if I went Bankrupt
I would still work at anything
including cleaning bogs
or picking up dog poo for a council.

Jobs arent as easy to come by for some, there is a guy where I live who worked all his life until his wife died of cancer and he got depression and lost his house through it.

He was homeless because of illness so try being a bit less judgemental.

He had severe depression and tried to kill himself, in the end he got back on his feet and he washes windows now.

Most people just don't want to see sad homeless ****ers begging for money for drugs , as they make their way home from a good night out...

There are more unemployed than there are jobs, 2:1 or more. You're simply wrong. If everyone without a job "worked hard", only half of them would get work. Simple maths.

100% employment is economically impossible. Literally. Not just in our economy - it simply can't happen. For economic fluidity there MUST always be people unemployed, and there MUST always be unfilled positions. Always.

There are the people for whom work is an impossibility with complex mental health issues, they're in the community now where's the care?

Yes they would have change and move to other places.

Yes, I was being a bit mean when I posted that, people are homeless for a wide variety of reasons.

But it's true that most people after a night out making their way home don't want to be confronted with the sight of people sleeping on the streets.

It invokes feelings of guilt and sadness.

I wish there was a simple solution to this.
