I also think she may be an abuse victim and that is a major cause for her being a sex addict. It also explains why she lacks so much emotion and is attracted to Steven instead of being put off by his creepy and controlling, possessive nature. I think she has done a lot worse than having sex on TV, because so far I have seen no shame or regret over what she did. Not saying she should have shame or regret but the lack of it makes me think, that's nothing compared to previous sex bouts and orgies etc she may have been involved in.

I seriously wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that she's been in an absuive relationship before. She's too keen to please Steven - one of the signs is that you'll do anything to prevent conflict - and cutting up the photos (nice one Helen) showed that.
