Why dont we complain more about BB revealing the results?

Maybe we simply have to much to complain about...especially this season but I do find it odd that this subject isn't more of a focal point, like the Live Feeds.
in Australia one of the best moments on Eviction nights is seeing before the results where the polls stand.
Not only would C5 and BB make more money off more people voting, and lets be fair ratings and money are all they truly care about, but I think it'd add a whole new dynamic to the show and how "fans" show support.

Imagine the Matthew eviction.... Imagine how many more people would have picked up their phones to vote if Emma revealed the voting poll (without showing which contestant is in which spot) and the viewers see that 2 housemates were almost tied for the eviction. C5 would see a massive influx of votes on eviction night because of it.

I would love to see how things play out and how peoples popularity changes. Like Jale going last night.... Interesting that there was no mention of it being a "close" eviction this time, which leads me to think Jale truly got more votes than we though she would. Would be fun to compare her week1 poll results to last nights.

I really hope more fan-sites and fans in general pick up on this and start demanding that they do it, or at-least try it out for one season. Rather than trying to start petitions for pointless twists that they know C5 will do nothing about.

(Note that they can follow the Aussie format by not showing who's were in the poll 2/3 through the season as to not ruin who might win)

Thoughts?

As long as they reveal the voting percentages at the end, I'll be happy

I wouldn't mind her revealing the poll during the eviction interview where they let the evictee guess the other spots like in BB Aus.

an indicative poll would be cool, but then again it'd kill the suspense

No it wouldnt work in BBUK because the crowd could relay the positions to the house too easily and i like that we have a free audience instead of a set of sterile studio monkeys that are told to keep quiet and not knowing is more exciting.
Also its Series not season.

I'm using australia as a reference point, but im sure they can do it other ways... but in the Aussie version the poll results are shown at the start of the eviction episode with blank faces... so you see the % but you dont know who's where on the poll. Sometimes the ones you expect to have the most votes to stay are at the bottom (Ben form BBAu last year) and the person you think is going home is leading the poll (Tahan on a few occasions on BBAu last year)... It really gets crazy exciting sometimes when after the evictee is revealed and the host shows how everyone polled that week.

I see your point but i dont think the crowed there is smart enough to coordinate any kind of chant to revel it to the house. no way.

As for the season thing, I'm Canadian and we say seasons... deal with it. :p

I will let you off then on the season thing then :spin:
Also yes i did forget that it was blank faces until they were evicted. Yes i think that could be pretty fun to do for a series just to try it.
Email Ben Frow about it tell him to check it out see what he thinks.

Hang on, the OP meant a poll list WITHOUT housemate names labelled so what could they reveal to the house?

The only problem with it is that if you have one housemate far ahead of all the others in the votes, might discourage voters if they think the result is unchangeable.

Revealing a poll to the evictee afterwards would be good though.

lol thanks for letting me off on that.

And lets just say for argument sake that somehow they do it... how would it be any different from them chanting the name of a person a la "Gina! Gina! Gina! Gina!" last year. I'd love for someone to know they are fave to win and see how they change in the house cause had it not been for Gina hearing the love she had outside i doubt she'd had been as bold and confrontational to Hazel, thus throwing her win away.

Yes, at the start of the eviction episode where Emma first reads out whos up and how to vote for them, she would then show the full polling results as it stands with blank faces. So we can see the % but not who is in the #1, #2, #3 potions etc. You wont know that until the eviction had happens.
