Can anyone confirm how it was done? Was it done 'normally' yesterday, but the housemates will have to re-do the same today? Or what?

I'm glad. Actual face-to-face nominations result in a letdown most of the time for me, people either cheat or cop out. Having them nominate normally in the Diary Room, only to reveal them later, is the much better way of doing it imo.
