Thoughts On This Current BB Series? Great, Good, Bad, Boring?

At this point, how do you rate it?

Macie Lightfoot 16-07-2014 06:09 PM

eh it's definitely Not Good but it hasn't been totally unwatchable. Ashleigh and Danielle have been enough to keep it alive but the tyranny of Helen "ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT" Wood has rly dragged things down

Raph 16-07-2014 06:09 PM

Bad and boring. I shall elaborate after dinner

Samm 16-07-2014 06:12 PM

Good, it's getting so much hate the eviction order hasn't been great but the series is still alive

BB15 > BB10 > BB14 > BB12 > BB11

All the other series are better but I haven't watched, BB1, BB2 & BB4 so can't comment

Rob! 16-07-2014 06:13 PM

I'm actually loving it. I don't think it's as good as last year, but I've really enjoyed it all the same.

sampvt 16-07-2014 06:20 PM

It seems to appeal to an ever decreasing minority with its larger than life nastiness this year. I guess they are going down that road to challenge Jeremy Kyles audience to watch, seeing as how the viewing figures are getting lower every week, as is the interest on this forum as well.

DigitalMethod 16-07-2014 06:21 PM

bad-terrible and boring.

This is the worst series since C5 took over, and that Aaron one was quite the stinker.

karezza 16-07-2014 06:23 PM

I am enjoying it. It will improve if misery-guts Ashleigh is evicted.

:wavey:

Crimson Dynamo 16-07-2014 06:29 PM

I try not to

>>>>>>>>>>>

go there and just enjoy

Jamesy 16-07-2014 06:31 PM

It's good and I'm enjoying it. Although I'm not on the edge of my seat jumping for joy over it. On the whole a good solid series for me.

Strictly Jake 16-07-2014 06:32 PM

It's got a lot better! Everyone is more likeable now apart from Steven and Kimberly! One of them needs to be gone on Friday along with Pav! I need zoe and biannca to stay so badly

Yaki da 16-07-2014 06:54 PM

The series is so utterly awful it's become an almost fascinating mess.

MrWong 16-07-2014 06:58 PM

Not great tbh.

Far too much manipulation for my liking.

The hate for the housemates should be aimed at the ***** that are producing this ****e.

Pete. 16-07-2014 06:59 PM

Good

reece(: 16-07-2014 06:59 PM

DIRE eviction order, awful male housemates and constant negativity has made this series pretty poor.

reece(: 16-07-2014 07:00 PM

oh & the twists have been dreadful.

LaLaLand 16-07-2014 07:00 PM

Good. Very enjoyable.

Macie Lightfoot 16-07-2014 07:14 PM

am I the only one who thinks the eviction order has been one of the better things about this series? Let's go through them all ^_^

Tamara: obvious first boot choice, was never going to be a good HM, had a decent shock value since Danielle is Danielle

Pauline: The Pauline Thing was frustratingly exhausting, she needed to go. It was perfect arc completion because her story was finished. Her eviction was dead obvious since the previous Friday but that doesn't automatically make it bad. Sometimes dead obvious boots are some of the best (if anyone's seen Survivor, Roger's boot episode in Amazon was fantastic and it was 45 minutes of everyone ****ting on him)

Toya: as someone not in the #WeaveArmy or #FoolsMommaDidntRaise or whatever, I really don't care about Toya that much. Her eleventh hour meltdown as Power HM was exquisite and targeted at all the right people, but everything before it really sucked so whatever. There was a decent shock factor because of campaigns to gt Ash out, so the suspense was good but the result was disappointing because it so should've been Ash

Matthew: see above, kinda? He's really just a low-rent Derek Laud/Ben Duncan but not as good as either of them so whatever. Any enemy of Helen's is a friend of mine so he's not terrible, just not great by any means. Bigger shock eviction than Toya's, but again for all the wrong reasons. Like, it SO should've been Ash it's not even funneh, there was no arc completion and it wasn't his time to go

Jale: she didn't do anything wrong but she wasn't going to deliver. She was in her best form when she was the recipient of Helen and Pauline's mistreatment, but once Pauline was evicted it was clear that Jale's too normal for a show like this, especially with the spectacularly awful cast this series. Hanging out with the cool kids isn't a good look but whatever. Ashleigh was clearly the better choice to stay and it wasn't her time to go at all, so Jale was the sacrificial lamb. Huge shock factor for the fourth time now, but for all the right reasons.

Marlon: rofl he was unceremoniously chucked out in a surprise eviction through the DR in only his underwear and nobody gave a flying ****. Then he had to wear a dressing robe that was on standby for his interview. Such a fitting ending to such an unspectacular person

so yeah I don't really get the complaints about the evictions

waterhog 16-07-2014 07:16 PM

i love it - bit of everything. and only half way through.

Marsh. 16-07-2014 07:19 PM

Bad.

Northern Monkey 16-07-2014 07:29 PM

Good.

erinp5 16-07-2014 07:31 PM

Bad .
BB have messed so much right to the point of evicting a Hm without a public vote not once but twice .
Protecting Helen who has 15 warnings and given a pass to the final on the first week.
Every Hm evicted has told of the atmosphere in the house because of Helen's violent verbal outbursts .

:worship:

Agree entirely!

Mystic Mock 16-07-2014 07:32 PM

Even though there have been some standout Housemates overall in this series, I do think it's quite bad as the producers are just contempt with ridiculous twists that turn up out of the blue, and a particular showmance that must not be named as it's quite a disturbing relationship.

Benji_ 16-07-2014 07:38 PM

I'd say its not the best but not the worst. Average.
