Thunder/Lightening..

Never before has it work me up and kept me awake until this morning, it's really bad here

Tom4784 18-07-2014 02:23 AM

It's the lightning that's worrying me, it feels like we're right under it.

Same, a small window in my bedroom right near me doesn't have a blind as well so my room is becoming shockingly bright

Sophiee 18-07-2014 02:47 AM

it was quite heavy here about half an hour ago but it seems to have gone now. I love it though  if only the heat would go with it.

Loukas 18-07-2014 02:59 AM

i was caught in it now on my way home!
I personally really like it :hehe:

AnnieK 18-07-2014 05:53 AM

We've not had any yet  Forecast today though....

Marc 18-07-2014 06:16 AM

Natalie. 18-07-2014 06:16 AM

billy123 18-07-2014 06:52 AM

I love a good thunderstorm especially after a really hot spell of weather and when it comes with amazingly heavy rain! Its cloudy and nearly 18c still here this morning i hope we have a good storm.

Marc 18-07-2014 07:19 AM

"We needed that rain.."

Samm 18-07-2014 08:42 AM

I hated it last night it kept me awake

Pete. 18-07-2014 08:45 AM

I had it about 2 last night

Jay. 18-07-2014 08:46 AM

Same, I love it though, makes me feel really safe, for some reason?

CaudleHalbard 18-07-2014 09:45 AM

Saw a tree catch fire in a neighbour's garden, a few years ago, as a result of a lightning strike.

Glenn. 18-07-2014 09:54 AM

It started here about 3am last night. Well I could see lightening in the distance and hear the thunder. Couldn't of amounted to anything because it didn't wake me. Unless I was in a deep sleep.

Kazanne 18-07-2014 10:10 AM

I hope we get it here later,I love a good old thunder storm.

I am not looking forward to one despite my interests. The last bad one we had washed away the road at the back and scoured it 3 foot deep and I had to hire a wee digger thing to replace the stones that were 40 foot further down.

so it can feck off to the east

billy123 18-07-2014 03:30 PM

Its still 20C and really clammy here i feel like im missing out on the storms :(

This was somewhere down south last night.
