"Everyone in the country is watching" is always a favourite line of mine. No dears, 1 million out of 64 million people in the country are watching you.

It's still on the air - that's popular enough. Plus, the tabloids are always there to pump up their egos.

lol, its so funny, if a TIBB member went in we would be the only HM to know how and what BB is in the current day. I don't get why they go on unless they haven't watched or are a fan, just for the fame probably. But its only watched by 1-1.5 M a night, so you won't get that famous.

It's been 14 years. Some clingy weirdo lasting 2 seconds shagging someone in the Big Brother house is anything but shocking. They're so delusional it's funny, even if the viewers were 5m no one would care

In terms of 'audience reach' i.e. the number of individual people that watch Big Brother at least once during the series, 5 million is probably not exaggerated figure. It's probably more than that actually.

1-1.5 million is the average watching an episode each night.

I've only seen a few seasons of this show, was it not a whole lot more popular in prior years?

Does the rating figure mean 1-1.5 million households watching? If so then it's possible they get 2-3 millions people watching
