What are your interests?

So we have a best traits thread to get us know each other better, but what about your interests?

I said a few weeks ago in another thread that I always struggle with this in writing CV's/applying for jobs, but I now know a few things to say!

First of all, socialising... I love meeting new people and talking! I tend to get on with older women the most (like 30 - 65) and I find them really friendly most of the time.

I like sports... I like playing football and different kinds of ball games.

I like watching movies, especially disney ones. Don't diss!!!!

wbu? what does your interests be?

King Gizzard 21-07-2014 07:56 PM

the one thing is music I guess..then I dip out of other things/get drastically bored of them.

Have always liked football but gradually getting tired of it/verging on not liking it anymore. Recently got back into Wrestling but probably won't last long

Like movies but rarely watch them/rarely get to go to the cinema

and after that..I need more hobbies, my time is generally spent wasting time looking at **** on the internet, very dull person really

Socialising definitely, love meeting and talking to new people.

Sports wise I like basketball and archery! I'm into photography and acting too, I do a little bit of singing but only occasionally.

I like tweeting too and watching TV shows/movies, also reading books (fave is dystopia) :D

Aside from the obvious of music, I'd say

partying/drinking excessively
acting
speaking foreign languages

The last 2 things (well actually all 3 lols) kind of dominate my life, I always want to continue with acting but don't wish to pursue it as a career. Learning and speaking many other languages as a job is my main dream currently, though I don't know exactly what area

Oh and video games too, am primarily a Nintendo fanboy though I probably play my PS3 the most

Football, travelling, nights out, internet, tv

Doodling, Graphics, Computers, Track Days/Racing, Running and this ones cliché but I love shopping, I spend ages walking round the shops looking at every single thing.

And ummm

Ninastar 21-07-2014 08:09 PM

Sophiee 21-07-2014 08:39 PM

shopping, tv, internet, seeing friends, going places (different towns/cities etc), music, walking.

Jamesy 21-07-2014 09:30 PM

Photography is probably my biggest interest, having been doing it for the past 7 years. Aside from that I have an interest in theme parks, reading, swimming, loads of TV shows and films, and I like spending hours on forums like this one.

Natalie. 22-07-2014 06:17 AM

Reading, tv, football, internet and going for walk

Ramsay 22-07-2014 06:34 AM

Music and Video Games are probably my main things. I dip in and out of wrestling, same with football. i used to be REAAALLYYY into it but these days not as much. you could still ask me about some random obscure premiership player from the late 90s-early 00s and i'll be able to tell you who he played for
edit: i forgot TV also. i've seen sooooooooooooooo many tv shows it's cray

Jay. 22-07-2014 08:57 AM

Music, socialising sometimes but not all the time, films, and oh my god even gardening lately I've actually grown some food.. (peppers, cucumbers, butter-nut squashes, strawberries) and I'm actually so proud

But mainly photography, although I think I'm not that good at it, I just love it. I just love scenery etc and it just makes me happy seeing something that I took... that actually doesn't look half bad.

Well... that's when I'm not busy anyway with exams etc. :umm2:

Graphics, Computers, Art, Video Editing, Shopping, Music, Gardening (sometimes!), Cooking, Talking, Video Games and Sleeping

I get on more with people older than me than the people for example, in my class; mostly because i'm the youngest in my family and I prefer to get on with people older and more mature. By older, I don't mean like 60  I just mean like older than me, Some of my closest friends are in the year above me in school, etc. I tend to be better friends with girls as well, idk why

Singing is my main interest but unfortunately haven't been able to do much if it since I finished school May 2013. I was part of a choir there and it was something that I loved. I'll get back into it eventually but I love singing because I was good at it. I also loved acting, too, but I had no real talent in it so it's not something that I ever wanted to pursue further.

Bowling is another interest. I used to bowl as part of a league and used to take part in competitions in both Scotland and England. I played for 8 years and have up to focus on exams before I turned 18 (I would have had to leave when I was 18 anyway). I've been asked numerous times to join an adult league but at the moment I'm pretty happy not being committed to anything (it's also expensive).

Watching TV is another interest I have. I watch loads of different programmes and love getting involved in every single one.

I also enjoy music (mainly pop music) and going to concerts as much as I can.

Finally, I love travelling. A lot. I haven't properly travelled, only gone on holiday every year but the whole experience is something that I enjoy greatly from the airport to long queues. I travelled 36 hours in a bus in 2012, completely worth it.

Music's my main hobby, play 4 instruments, write music, study it (my music theory knowledge is TIGHT YO) listen to it obv, did a bloody degree in it as well.

Any opportunity to arrange a party of some sort and I'm on it. I'm often told I'm a pretty good host/party planner and people often ask me to help them out with arranging stuff.

I used to be into art (mainly contemporary) but I don't have the time or money for it any more :(
