In an interview with Native Monster, Pauline said: “I think the reaction was worse for my family.

“It upset my mom a great deal because she didn’t get to see any of the good bits about her daughter. My son has been a rock. It can’t have been easy for him with people saying nasty things about his mom.”

But she added: “I can’t let them beat me.”

Pauline, who has also been the target of ‘two online hate campaigns’, told the website she did not consider her behaviour in the house bullying.

“I will speak my mind and if I think someone is out of order I will tell them so, but that doesn’t make me a bully,” she explained. “The public’s perception of what goes on in there is determined by what they see on the screen.”

Some people get way too into this show..

I think it's worse if you bully someone but in your mind you think it's not bullying because then you're going to continue to act like this thinking it's okay and it really isn't. Bullying has horrible effects on people and the fact she thinks she was being reasonable is crazy to me. She just isn't too good of a person and so she is feeling the aftermath of her bullying.

That's wrong. Don't like the woman but it's only a television show in the end.

Shows how, despite what people say about BB being a shadow of its former self compared with for example the Nasty Nick days nothing much has changed and people still get worked up by what they see on the show.
