Anyone else feel tense here?

This forum used to be great, it still is, but some people have gotten to strong with their opinions. This is meant to be a site of light debate, however it's gotten to a point where one has to type on eggshells around some members and even moderators and admins. I don't like it. I want to be able to voice my opinions without fear of snide or condescending comments. If I wanted an hostile forum I would stick to survivorsuck but ThisIsBigBrother.

Let's all get along!

Headie 23-07-2014 02:26 PM

Agreed, especially during on-season :clap1:

Smithy 23-07-2014 02:27 PM

Yeah it's horrible, it's always the same few members on here too who feel the need to pick at the smallest things

Cherie 23-07-2014 02:32 PM

Nope don 't feel tense at all, I don't take it that seriously,I think the theme has added to the usual shout of fix on here this year though

armand.kay 23-07-2014 02:32 PM

On season is like a war zone on this site. I've never noticed before because I never use to stay for off season.

When I first got here this forum has such a lighthearted atmosphere something that allot of other forums lack. Hopefully we don't become like those other forums.

I learn't from the Mtm that an issue can arise out of anything.

Some people here are loonies who cause issues out of things that don't even concern them.
I've also noticed a divide between the younger members and some of the oldies.

But I've seen the light as we are getting new members who are a great additions to the forum. Hopefully some phresh blood with calm things down.

No not at all, during on season most of us that are here all year can argue tooth and nail over bb and housemates etc but then the minute BB is over we are still on talking terms and put it all behind us and get back to normal because at the end of the day it's only a TV show but it's also the sole reason that the majority of us joined the forum to begin with, when needed we come together as a great community and most of us genuinely care about the members we know here.

BigSister 23-07-2014 02:38 PM

I agree with Josy although on season I do post but not as much as I do off season really....

I agree, it's been quite hostile this season.

Livia 23-07-2014 02:50 PM

If anything, it feels less hostile that usual.

Was just coming in to that

Ramsay 23-07-2014 03:04 PM

Oh there definitely is hostility and it is uncomfortable to come across it as it does seem to happen a'lot but there have been previous years that have been much worse and make this year seem jolly lol

Vanessa 23-07-2014 03:05 PM

No, not really. Usually it is, but this year has been quite mellow.

Agree. During BB14 it was worse.

Cal. 23-07-2014 03:07 PM

I don't know I've only been here for 2 months of off-season and then 2 months of on-season so can't really judge...

Brother Leon 23-07-2014 03:20 PM

It's not that bad. It's all pretty light hearted to me. At least from my end

Locke. 23-07-2014 03:25 PM

Haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary

Jack_ 23-07-2014 03:31 PM

If anything I find off-season much more hostile and there's been a few off-seasons in recent years that have had pathetic never-ending feuds and arguments arising out of nothing in numerous threads, I think during on-season you just have to embrace it, I don't really take it that seriously. Everyone has strong opinions and everyone's going to get a bit pissed off at the way others see things, but at the end of the day it's just a TV show and come September we'll all have forgotten about it.

It's the feuds between members that exist outside of Big Brother that is IMO more serious and makes off-season more hostile than on-season.

Did Bluerang get banned to escape the tension :hehe:

I think it was because he was using improper English like 'ha'

Ever since Josy became admin things have just gone downhill. People disappearing without a trace, posts just vanishing into thin air and pro Tibb propoganda has been up 300%. I'm tellin you man this is serious stuff but we can put a stop to this.

Please send me donations so I can hire Morgan Freeman to be head of the resistance and we can take back this place for the people.

You can always count on one or two to try maintain the division or the illusion of one when in truth it no longer exists.

This season has been the quietest i can remember ,i think due to nearly everyone universally liked /disliked ,but hardly anything like its been last few years ,off season is a cesspit on here I dont get into it ,the main problem being fake "love" it turns my stomach if Im honest ,I call a spade a spade ,some don't like it, but its better to be honest than fake

If people can't realise that 'ha' means 'her' then I don't want to live in this world anymore http://i.imgur.com/SJyZxK3.gif
