green day U2 new song
 

Has anyone heard that new green day/ U2 single, .. its quite good, i heard it on GWR FM last night.

.. i love it when supergroups combine to make an even bigger super super group.

i'd like Keane and Snow Patrol to get together for a single.

Oh Markus!! .. what is wrong with you Green day and U2 are excellent bands .. merged together they are FANTASTIC!! .. like when you put cheese and ham together, .. or peanut butter and chocolate!!

I watched Johnathon Ross last night, he had Snow Patrol and Martha Wainwright on, they blew me away, the hairs on my arm stood up, and i had shivers down my spine!!!
i get that when i listen to Colplay's X & Y cd aswell!!

The track that U2 and Green Day covered is called "The Saints are Coming" and it's actually an old punk song from a 70s Scottish band called "The Skids". Just thought I'd throw in that random information in case anyone was interested *cue tumbleweed*.. Here is the link to the video.

.. anyway.. I thought it was amazing, but then again, I'm a Green Day fan (if you hadn't already noticed) ... :rolleyes:

I'm not particulary a U2 fan but I do like some of their stuff. Snow Patrol's "run" and "chasing cars" sends shivers down my spine.. as does most of Coldplay's tracks ... powerful stuff...:thumbs:
