If there was...

a piece of technology (like cloning spare parts) that made it possible to live forever, would you go for it ... or do you think all good things should come to an end at some point?

MTVN 26-07-2014 01:43 AM

Yeah sure, people always say stuff like 'you'd get bored' but really there's so much that could be done in this world you have no excuse for getting that bored especially when the times will be constantly changing if you're constantly alive

Kizzy 26-07-2014 01:46 AM

well only with my brats with me, otherwise no.

Me. I Am Salman 26-07-2014 01:54 AM

this world isn't enough to make me want to stay here forever
also what if you get into some kind of srs never ending depression/become enslaved/fall in a hole

Natalie. 26-07-2014 06:16 AM

Maybe 50 years longer but other than that no thanks

Ammi 26-07-2014 06:42 AM

..yep, all good things ..(and bad things..) come to an end, it's the natural order and I wouldn't want to live forever...

lostalex 26-07-2014 07:55 AM

Yes, i wish i would live forever. I think life and people and this planet are all fascinating. i want to see everything that happens. I hate the fact that i won't get to. I would much rather be a ghost on earth rather than go to heaven. I'd much rather just get to watch the world go by forever, than go to heaven and be with my family forever.

Sophiee 26-07-2014 08:51 AM

nope I wouldn't.

andybigbro 26-07-2014 12:00 PM

Yes :) dying scares me.

reece(: 26-07-2014 12:02 PM

I don't want to live until the end of the Earth cos that's gonna be scary but I'd happily do a few hundred thousand years.

Jay. 26-07-2014 12:06 PM

Just until I think my times up, yeah, then I'd take it off and give it to someone else or something.

Josy 26-07-2014 12:55 PM

Hmm only if my loved ones were around forever too, if not then whats the point?

This. And there'd have to be an anti-ageing device around as well to have me stick around for 60 more years, never mind forever.

Knispel 26-07-2014 04:29 PM

Yes but i think i would start to regret my choice when our star the Sun goes red giant and envelops the Earth when it starts to expand in its final days.....

Adamw92 27-07-2014 10:06 PM

If I could stay young then yes but I'd only do it if those closest to me agreed to it too, I wouldn't want to live without the people I love :)

Firewire 27-07-2014 10:07 PM

Yeah, I probably would

joeysteele 27-07-2014 10:09 PM

I've voted no but if it was possible for me and all those I have around me at this time in my life to be too then I could be persuaded to change my mind.

mooo 28-07-2014 12:03 AM

No - unless there was an anti aging thing then when id had enough i could jump infront of a bus

mrflibble 28-07-2014 04:03 PM

Yes, I have no close attachments to anyone so I wouldn't have to worry about things like that. The only thing I'm really interested in doing with my life is watching movies and playing games and if I knew I was going to be around forever, I wouldn't feel as much pressure to get all the 'good' ones in before I died. Preferably, I'd want to build up some kind of wealth so I didn't have to slave away for millions of years as well though...

Bollo 28-07-2014 10:49 PM

No...all my friends and family would be dead and I just think it would end up like either the movie 'Death becomes her' or when Marvin gets stranded in The hitchikers guide to the galaxy -According to Marvin, "The first ten million years were the worst, and the second ten million years, they were the worst too. The third ten million I didn't enjoy at all. After that I went into a bit of a decline." Apparently, the best conversation he'd had was over 40 million years ago, and that was with a coffee machine...

coffee 28-07-2014 10:59 PM

I would but I just wish I wouldn't age.

I'm scared of dying but I don't want to live forever.

Marsh. 04-08-2014 02:44 PM

I'd use it to live as long as I wanted to, to do whatever I wanted to do but eventually I'd die. Living forever would be horrible.

The thoughts of seeing all my friends and family die out whilst I live on fills me with dread.
