Helen and Ashleighs conversation pissed me off really showed thier wannabe side

They didn't show it on the highlights its on youtube.

When Helen tells Ashleigh she thinks she will defo be in the final Ashleigh responds saying that she would rather go before so she can have a long interview with Emma and do all the bots and other stuff (obvs mags, papers) before interest is gone.

Helen also agreed she would prefer not to be in the final as she would want to appear on the spin off show and experience that side of things.

So why should I vote for Ashleigh anymore if she doesn't even want to be there and pretty much wants to leave now to experience the 5 minutes of fame left before CBB starts and they are forgotten about.

Seems housemates no longer go in for the whole BB experience but to just get enough exposure and leave halfway through.

Yaki da 26-07-2014 12:19 PM

They were just saying they'd like the full BB experience (of which being on BOTS for a week is one in their minds). They probably don't think they have a chance of winning, and recognize that coming out 4th in the final just leaves you overshadowed by everything else.

Oh is that not making it to the final anymore? Its quite sad really.

Making it to the final used to be an achievement but this comes across so ungrateful.

I honestly like Ashleigh and Helen aswell but this just pissed me off.

So they want the attention.

The one thing that keeps me from really liking Ashleigh is her relationship with Helen. It's so fake. They don't like each other so why pretend ?.
I just wish Ashleigh would go back to earlier weeks by speaking her mind a little more.
I feel she has taken a step back since she heard the crowd reaction.
Also, if you don't want to stay you know where the door is, leave.

No, they went on BB because they hate attention.

Because they have to live with each other.

You want her to spend her entire 10 weeks in conflict with someone? Do you realize how draining that would be?

And anyway, it was one conversation that lasted for a couple of minutes out of a 24 hour day. And the only reason they were there was because they were getting the gunge out of each other's hair.

Helen seems to get by with conflict. Not too draining on her (!).
Don't forget the love-in Ashleigh & Helen had with each other not too long ago. It's fake. If you see something else good luck to you.

The problem is, Ashleigh and Helen are the only girls left (Zoe is still quite a stranger to them) so they are kind of forced to be civil to each other. In the past they had their own female mates but now they are thrown together for some female companionship. It's not really fake from either, I just think it's how things have panned out. I'm sure they will never be besties....:hehe:

What love-in? They called a truce for a moment after being on a winning team together.

And then went back to not really getting on with each other.

I don't know what this obsession with Ashleigh getting on with Helen is. It just feels like the latest in a desperate attempt to undermin Ashleigh's chances of winning with a criticism that doesn't really make sense.

Exactly. Girls will help each other groom, get the gunge out of their hair and so on... And, occassionally, talk.

It's a pity there are so few females left. It happens every year.

Can you get back on topic or start a thread about Helen and Ashleighs relationship lol.

This has nothing to do with the thread.

How is it an obsession. These forums are for this kind of thing.
Ashleigh is my second favourite in there. But no HM is perfect.

What's there to say? Neither think they're going to win and they'd quite like a big night and to see what it's like appearing on things like BOTS whilst the show is still on.

They're probably in two minds about whether they want to do that or reach the very end. Most HMs probably would be.

If Kimberly had said this she would have been hung out to dry and called a fake wannabe.

It just really pissed me off that the housemates would rather be evicted these days so they could get more attention whilst the show is still on.

It screams that they are not there for the BB experience but to get as much as they can afterwards and they know now that after the final BB is forgotten about due to CBB.

I get that housemates want to become celebs why else would they be there but to openly just say you don't want to be in the final because you don't get as much airtime is a kick in the teeth to everyone spending their money voting for them.

She wouldn't be. Many have said it in the past and not been so.

They jsut said they'd quite like the BOTS experience whilst the show is on. They've obviously failed to remember that a CBB series starts afterwards.

But they said that BOTS is part of the BB experience in their minds. HMs have been saying this for years. Even more so before actually because you had Dermot with BBLB and Russell on BBBM that they all wanted to do.

They know CBB starts straight after lets not get delusional here. None of the housemates appear on CBB Bots really.

They might aswell have said *I don't want to make the final because I want my own night when its all about me me me me me*

As opposed to what though? What is so wrong with them quite liking the idea of all of that? I think that's been in the minds of every BB HM for over 10 years.

I recall Rex saying to Darnell "Imagine getting to the final after all this and coming 5th. That would be ****". Darnell then came 5th and Rex 4th

I give up on this.

IMO wanting to be evicted so you can have more airtime and more attention from Emma is a pisstake.

I wont spend a penny on someone who would be so ungrateful to make the final.

poppsywoppsy 26-07-2014 01:03 PM

Of course they say they don't want to win it, it is called double bluff. If they say they want to, it will be repeated with Chinese Whispers that one or the other would do anything to win, so they say they don't to appear desperate to win.

Ashleigh might say she doesn't want to win but being in at the final and winning the money has to mean a lot to her.

Helen is just scared at what she will walk out to and so she should be.

Jesus... It was one conversation in which they spoke about liking the idea of having a week on BOTS.

These conversations have gone on for over 10 years and even more so when you got to do a week with Dermot on BBLB and appear on BBBM with Russell.

Achilles 26-07-2014 01:10 PM

Helen said she thought Ashleigh would be in the final, Ashleigh replied she doesn't think so, better than her saying yeah I think so too, I think I gonna stomp it. Then Helen asked if she wants to and Ashleigh replied, yeah love to, but she would also like to go on BotS. She was saying if you in final but no chance of winning may as well get to do BotS. I don't think she seemed wannabee, she just wanted the whole experience. Obviously she would prefer to WIN, they all would, even the ones who lie and say they don't

Totally agree and nice to see logical comments as opposed to hate and hero contributions. They all want to win and they all try to save face but the winning line is all they want, that's a gimme and things they say are just face saving statements that sometimes people refuse to believe as fiction.

Its getting near the line and HM's and supporters alike are getting confused and somewhat desperate to make others buy their opinions.

And that's why Kimberly left right?

Because she wanted to win?

Winning to the housemates these days doesn't mean making it to the final it means getting as much attention as possible, getting out before the end and milking it for all its worth.

Just like Kimberly has apparenty done and been accused of.

Can we also stick to the housemates and not rip into the "supporters" or accuse them of simply making threads to sway people opinions fgs.
