Is he enjoying playing the Victim...

I find Christopher inoffensive and if he wins I will be disappointed, because he will be forgotten in two weeks.
I just think he has been hit on by several housemates in the house...is this coincidence?...maybe he is just a tad annoying...a bit of an irritant.
He has seen the public save him time and time again...he is quite confident now to stand up for himself...which is a good thing.
However he strops off a little too often to his room and buries himself under the duvet after little spats....

Me thinks he is playing the Victim card a little too much...:nono:

christopher has actually been victimized, i don't know why you think he is "playing the victim" he was definitely treated poorly for the first half of the series. most of the housemates have admitted to treating him poorly.

Indeed he was,by Helen, Pauline and also Toya, who for me, the worst and patronising of the lot in my view.

He says his piece then gets away from the confrontation that likely would follow,he is always prepared to listen but there are time it seems that others think he is fair game to get at.
Such as Ashleigh, as he was making a valid point in conversation as to BB,then she also turned on him.

I have never felt he was playing the victim at all,he just clears off and leaves them to it.
For me a wise move in that house this series.

Christopher was treated abysmally in the first couple of weeks being called wasp to his face by Helen was just totally uncalled for imo. I think his strategy now to just take himself out of the situation is correct as there is nothing to be won from rowing in that house. I don't think he plays the victim at all though I think he has every right to.

He's the wisest one there by miles, and only Chris is on a similar level. The rest of them are, I'm sorry to say, pretty stupid.

Really good point that one.Well said.

Christopher is far from being a victim. He takes all the **** flung at him and responds in a measured and dignified manner.

Tbf though, Ashleigh did say he had been getting at her all morning. I really like Christopher, but I can see how he could be irritating and it's not as if she makes a habit of snapping at people. Some other HM's treated him terribly at first, but I don't think Ashleigh losing her temper with him is in the same league. She has always had his back.
When I am tired and in a bad mood, I am more likely to snap at my wife or a friend than someone who I know won't get me. I think most people do. They are friends and I suspect Christopher has forgotten about it already. Hint, hint...:hehe:

Now I better finish packing....or the wife will be going off without me....

I feel that of all the HMs he has played the game with dignity.Given the opportunity he makes his point without ranting or swearing and while it might be less entertaining its still to his credit.

I would like Ashleigh to win but if she is beaten by Christmas then no complaints from me.

Yes but does not respond likewise even though he has the intelligence to do so and get the best of it.

He is currently 7/4 jt fav to win while Mark is 20/1.

So much sense, thankfully in b4 all the mindless haters.

Christopher has been treated badly by everyone. Its like he is a nuisance to them. He is certainly not 'playing it'. I hope he wins

Yep and that will be the only reason he wins if he does. The man doesn't have an ounce of wit nor anything resembling a personality. He is very much an "Aw, poor Christopher" housemate.

No wonder this country and Europe is suffering a demographic crisis when limp wristed non entities like this attract support.

karezza 01-08-2014 02:37 PM

Christopher knows what he is doing. He is playing the best game. He has the public fooled.

abhorson 01-08-2014 02:38 PM

I really don't want any of this sorry bunch to win. Bur whoever does, well done.

Achilles 01-08-2014 02:43 PM

His entire game plan is to play the victim from day 1 to the final. He is using Mark so well for his game plan, constantly letting Mark treat him badly and not saying anything, so the public think "aw poor Christopher and boo Mark". He proved he is capable of standing for himself during the Ashleigh tiff. So why does he never do the same with Mark? He doesn't want to. The reason he baited Ashleigh all morning was he was taking advantage of her, knowing she was feeling so stressed out. When she finally snapped, off he went to the bedroom for a sulk and gained even more sympathy and at the same time gave the fave a knock.
The guy is in there for £100k, just like all the rest.
If people want a winner who played the victim from day 1, that's what they'll get.
If they want a more interesting and deserving winner such as Ashleigh or Chris or Helen even, that's what they'll get.
If they vote for eye candy they'll get Ash or Winston

Mystic Mock 01-08-2014 03:14 PM

I think Christopher is a nice guy, but I do feel that he can be quite fake sometimes as he says one thing but his face says another story.

And yes I do feel that he likes to play the victim as he knows it gets him loads of support, especially when a pretty blonde girl comes at him as the teen girls that don't vote for pretty girls will be on his side, in his defense though his not the only one to be playing the victim in this series as we've still got Pav in there as well.
