What is Chris' problem with Pav?

erinp5 02-08-2014 01:22 AM

Would be good if we heard the start of the convo .
Chris "I want to think the best of him " so what is Winston's input .

I wish BB would end the Chris and Pav storyline already. Or are they building up to something this week with that money as power task? Maybe Pav was sent in there for a reason afterall? Remember he said "I've already won"

erinp5 02-08-2014 01:27 AM

Seems Ash isn't to fond of Pav .
1.49am: Ash wishes Pav had gone instead of Zoe

why don't they show that clip .

Robodog 02-08-2014 01:48 AM

Pav went quiet because his VT persona couldn't stand up to the reality of the big characters in the house

The real Pav will show if there is a money based task - he is all about the money

Remember his first moment in the diary room with Zoe and Bianca when he shouted 'gimme da power!' - that said it all to me.

"What is Chris' problem with Pav?" ?

Instead of that, you should ask

"What is housemates problem with Pav?"

MojoNixon 02-08-2014 01:57 AM

And by the way, seems that BB producers are angry because Chris stayed. On that vid, you can see that they only show Winstons confused face, not Chris at all. And on BOTS, everyone is telling that Chris is bad, wrong, and so on. BB producers seems not like the idea that Chris is still popular. Chris is the salt of the earth. Normal person without overacting, being fake nice...whatever the reason is.

This whole "Chris vs. Pav" narrative is becoming even more contrived than the "Creepy Chris" campaign.

The biggest problem with it is that he's not the only one who has/had a problem with Pav. In fact, of all of the HMs, he seems to have engaged him the most from what we've seen. He does not blank him, unlike the 'cool gang' who seem merely to tolerate him but keep him at a distance by means of simply not engaging with him. Further still Chris is actually trying to make up for his treatment of Pav; he has apologised, he's acknowledged he may well have been wrong, and again he actually talks to him.

In short, Chris has actually not been that bad with Pav. Better than other HMs in fact.

Exactly.

Lots of comments saying show us Chris and Winston in that convo .
It's Chris speaking but is he in the DR and they have merge his words with Winston looking confused and responding with the words "yes " "yes" ,very odd or very bad cutting .
Why would you focus on the person listening and not on the person actually speaking.

I feel the same way. I can't understand why people are turning against Chris for being HONEST with him. He did say to Pav's face that he didn't want to concentrate on making new friendships, but is sure as hell being friendlier to Pav than anyone else in that house. Zoe seemed to be kind of pitying him, but that was it.

Chris is getting very boring in my view. Stating over and over why what he has done, will do, thinks, will think is "nothing bad". Why is he just covering himself constantly, or needing to justify every little thing he ever says and declare it as a "good thing"?

Is it because he is so uncertain about himself or is it because he wants to convince everyone that he is such a good guy?

Maybe it's just the edits - but would be nice to see him doing and talking about something else.

karezza 02-08-2014 08:17 AM

Creepy Chris is projecting his own unpleasantness onto Pav.

chuff me dizzy 02-08-2014 08:20 AM

Whats EVERYONES problem with Pav this should say ,as there is not only Chris who is wary of him ,but he's the only honest one who's spoken to him about it

I agree^^ He keeps going over the same stuff and trying to justify himself when none of the other HM's have questioned him about it.
He explained himself once and then he should have left it since they accepted his word. He is over playing it massively.

Yes I agree ,there IS a campaign against him ,trying to portray him as a pervert and bully PATHETIC,but even more pathetic is the sheep that keep it up with the "creepy Chris" routine ,I knew when he got close to Poison Ashleigh it would be his downfall ,and it looks like I was right

Who should he have tried to get close to so that he would appear in a better light to some?

Any of them, but Ashleigh has slyly got rid of everyone who's befriended her ,think about it

bitontheslide 02-08-2014 08:43 AM

Different people have different thresholds for what they consider acceptable behaviour. Chris is testing that threshold. Those with different opinions on him are not wrong. If Chris wants to win the series he needs to not alienate the voting majority. He is a bright guy, he must know he is playing a dodgy game by all his self justification.

I'm amazed that you give Ashleigh credit for so much power over the hearts and minds of the public - I'd worry about the public if this is the truth of the matter.

I don't get the feeling that Chris's constant self justification raises any questions with the other housemates so it may just be that it comes across more on the screen than it does to them face to face.

He is repeating his justifications to try and make sure it makes it in to the highlights show. The justifications are not for the housemates, its for the audience

Certainly could be the case - the repetition doesn't come across as natural.

He didn't get on with either Pauline or Toya and his feelings towards Bianca was also bad. I am beginning to wonder if this lad harbours a little bit of racism in his DNA. All his so called hip mates look like members of the national front and his sketches are somewhat disturbing.
