Chris is not Creepy

Chris is not creepy imo, he is just looking out for his friend what is wrong with that? can't a boy be friends with a girl? she is 18 she is practically an adult so she can have a close friend chris's age without it looking weird. Look at Pauline she was close friends with Steven and she is 50 is she creepy? no.

if chris looked like winston or ash no one will call him creepy.

has ashleigh called chris creepy? no
if ashleigh is happy with chris then he is alright
but if she isnt then people can say stuff.

p.s the ex housemates told the power alliance about pav and any outside info can send them paranoid. thats why they have ? over pav and zoe

mrflibble 02-08-2014 11:42 AM

Anyone who calls Chris creepy is just projecting their own issues onto him, imo. Everyone who has gotten close to him in the house (Ashleigh, Helen, Matthew, Christopher, Toya and even Danielle) have all personally said he is a genuinely nice and down to Earth guy and not creepy at all, no-one in the house thinks there is anything creepy about him or his relationship with Ashleigh. The only housemate who does is Creepy Steven, and why anyone would listen to the guy who never listens to anyone else, only talks about himself, is extremely bitter and had sex on TV call someone creepy, I don't know.

Until Ashleigh goes 'Chris, you're being creepy. No moar friendship' then it's none of our business.

:clap1: exactly.

the word is not nice at all

If Chris isn't creepy then no-one is creepy.

rionablue 02-08-2014 11:49 AM

Im sorry but I loved Chris he was in my top 5 housemates all the time but I just find his 'friendship' with Ashleigh weird. Not just cos of the age gap but the fact that he keeps hugging her when she isn't even crying or that upset. I don't think he had ANY right to talk to Pav about staring at Ashleigh. If she felt uncomfortable about it she was perfectly able to talk to him herself and in fact she hadn't even noticed it until Chris brought it up. I was one of his biggest fans now I find him just very uncomfortable to watch. So yes I do think he is creepy

people are creepy but has it come out of ashleighs mouth no?
people have got to stop being nasty towards chris

mrflibble 02-08-2014 11:52 AM

Ashleigh said that she reckons Chris has only hugged her 5 times... And regardless, he's also hugged everyone in that house. How can you tell how she was feeling every time he hugged her? Some people show affection through actions rather than words and he obviously likes to hug. How can a relationship with someone be creepy if no-one in that relationship finds it creepy?

I do agree that he wasn't really in the right to tell Pav to stop staring but he thought he was doing the right thing by protecting his friend from a potential predator and by telling Pav why he might have an issue with him. It wasn't a creepy thing to do, it was just an awkward, over-protective and unnecessary thing to do.

i think people are forgetting the ex housemates told the power alliance abut pav

minty3 02-08-2014 12:00 PM

He is not creepy at all people are totally going over the top

sungrass 02-08-2014 12:01 PM

I dont think Chris is creepy at all. I think he is kind to his friends - he's encouraged everyone when they were down.

I think he was very shy at the beginning and was just beginning to feel comfortable when the newbies came in. He has said to Pav they will be mates on the outside. I think due to being a bit shy its ALOT harder for him to open to people.

There is nothing creepy about him being friends with Ashleigh.

So Ashleigh knows everything about human behaviour?

So Ashleigh isn't playing her own game?

If someone finds Chris awkward, uncomfortable, creepy, nice, wonderful, shy etc etc etc they are entitled to have that view and not be forced to tow the party line so that a contestant can win big brother

Yeah exactly the ex housemates planted a paranoia seed there didn't they - and Pav wasn't talking - so he must have thought "what on earth is wrong him all he does it stare at people"

if everyone was in there and just say someone as accused someone of talking behind everyones back you obviously going to think this and that because its coming from someone who is watching the show whether they are right or wrong, it messes with your head

Even if I disagree with some of those labels, all of them can come down whether there is evidence of that behaviour in the house. Imo, Chris' 'creepy' label is the only one with no evidence. Friends with an 18 year old? So what? Friends with a woman? So what? Told someone to stop staring at someone based on his friends saying he was infatuated with that person? So what? He admitted that people have thought that he looked creepy and people may think that, but that doesn't make a person's actions creepy.

Oh i agree, not creepy at all.

But once other fans/posters who have their own fave see/hear even the slightest of excuses to go on an attack. The bandwagon goes all out.

Ashleighs turn this week. But to no avail.

LukeB 02-08-2014 12:16 PM

i might just stop wathing big brother after cbb, they need to edit the highlights better

I the viewer find it creepy. She may have no problem with it. Many others feel the same way as I do. As I mentioned in my previous post I liked Chris and have liked him from the start but once he started being 'chief protector' of the helpless maiden I have changed my opinion of him. Its downright weird in my opinion. I don't think creepy is a vile thing to say in THESE forums. I have heard words that are so derorgatory I wonder if people 'get off' on saying them specially about Kim. I have been pretty critical of various housemates and called them bitches etc but some posters in here have been vile (thankfully a few have been banned since) So in the grand scale of things creepy isn't all that bad. Anyway as I said its just my opinion

but that's not really the point is it? Ashleigh is not the viewer. Making a connection between the success of Ashleigh in BB and acceptance of the behavior of another contestant because he is in an alliance with her is pretty questionable.

People should be allowed to make their own minds up without it being wrapped up in to the success or failure of their "favourite"
