I did mine in a library... (THE boringest thing ever!) The school sorted it out for me cos I was late with my application for the local radio stattion. I also had the chance to do two weeks for the local paper, but it intruded into my AS levels. :bawling:

1 month is the biggest luxury hotel in the south of france, 1 month in the Piazza Athene, Paris.

And 1 week: Bishop Stortford (lol) in november in a coffee shop !

MarkWaldorf 16-10-2006 05:58 PM

Im doing mine in the London War Museum. My auntie works there so Im doing all different jobs in the departments. I'll be better then Paris and Nicole  I've never done anything like it so Im bound to mess up.

I don't think i'm doing any, my school 'agree's against it', pathetic *****. My headteacher, oh sorry 'principal' aint good for my head. I want to do work experience. :bawling:

Edited by Sunny_01 - your creative method of beating the swearing filter has been removed - you really have to stop doing this

Chrizzle 16-10-2006 06:04 PM

I did Burtons!
It was fun for the first week, but I got tired of being locked away in a sweaty store room and only having an hour lunch.
9 to 5 sucks!

MarkWaldorf 16-10-2006 06:05 PM

 Working 9 to 5! Pfft, OMG, Imagine being fired :joker:

Chrizzle 16-10-2006 06:06 PM

I hav'nt done work Experance, But i want to work in a estate agency for a week. In Hallifax and for my other week if i get one, i'd like to do something that involves Fashion Designing.

Bells 16-10-2006 07:13 PM

I did a whole working week, Monday-Friday 9-5pm which wasn't too bad but got a bit boring at times. I did it at a local solicitors' firm.
Not so much work experience, but I'm doing one or two random careers courses over the next few months I think. Might find some more work experience as well if I need it, or can be bothered.

I did my work experience at Ethel Austin(unisex clothes shop).I had to work 9-5.30pm for the week and it was fairly dull other than when my friends would come into the shop and mess about until they were thrown out like 3 girls from my year who came in asking to try on wonderbra's and if I could help them .Lunchtimes were good because loads of my mates were working in the town centre too and we'd all meet up or go and see the one's who were not on a lunch break. The old hippy's in the town centre got mocked and all
