& Ash & Winston breaking out the house - a bit hypocritical?

It wasn't so much to do with the fact that they broke out the house, but it was the punishment and how they reacted.
Helen said she doesn't need to give an apology and they were angry because it was 'a bit of fun' and whatever.
But because they did this they were put on rations, the hot water was turned off, electrical appliances turned off and the bedroom was out of bounds
What annoys me is Winston's reaction to it, laughing with his smug face, joking about it. Ash said it was funny and was joking too but at least he said he felt sorry for them.
My point is that Winston gave Marlon, his best friend, a hard time because he saved himself from eviction, and as a result putting the house on basic rations. At least, in a way, Marlon benefited from his actions as he was saved (only for a few days) and Winston's actions did nothing to benefit anyone.

Anyone agree? That it was a bit hypocritical of Winston (and Helen and Ash, in a way) for them to act like they have no reason to be sorry and laugh about it while he/they gave Marlon a hard time?

Yes all 3 were hypocritical.... but a bit too thick to notice.

Frankly I could not see the point in it.? But in punishing all for the sins of a few the BB knew exactly what the outcome would be.......aggravation and arguments which might prove better viewing than the deed.?

Chris to win

Come on people the time has come to get behind Chris a worthy winner that has actually been supportive of his friends throughout unlike ashley who dropped Danielle and to toya quicker than I could say bra... t ... and she nominated Chris her supposed friend. ... come on she doesn't deserve this one bit.... vote clever vote Christmas. ....

If they had been on the receiving end of basic rations/no use of electrical applainces because of Ashleigh and Chris, it would have been a completely different story..

No I don't think they were hipocrits. They were mad that he saved himself, not that they got put on basic rations.

Hehe it's always good when people moan about others moaning on a thread about being hypocritical.

Anyway, back on topic - I think it's near impossible for people to avoid being hypocritical unless they say nothing, do nothing and think nothing.

It's good to call people out on it but context and effect determines how significant or important it is - and on this occasion I don't think it adds much more to what we've seen from certain hms all along.
