Technically they ARE the in-crowd now... there are three of them, and only Ash and Helen. Pav clearly doesn't count. He's that sad kid who hangs around at the edge of the "in crowd" that no one really notices, and is just there to laugh at the right times and say "Yeeeah!".

I don't like Chris anymore. At one point I thought his diary room rants brilliant but I have gone right off him. I just CANT get my head around his friendship with Ashleigh. I cant remember it happening in BB in the past where a much older man formed a friendship with a younger contestant of the opposite sex It may all be genuine and accepted by many forum members but I just cant watch it. I think its just too bizarre. I know everyone is entitled to have friends but this just doesn't ring true to me sorry

It's a much more normal relationship than Steven and Kimberly ever was. Ashleigh is not a little girl. They are not lovers they are FRIENDS.
Bogart and Bacall WERE lovers and got married. He was in his 40s and she was 19. Do you consider that relationship weird?

Do you also not like Ashleigh because of her friendship with him? Chris often gets the blame or the 'weirdo' title for it, but she's just as close to him as he is to her. Why isn't as weird that the 'much younger woman formed a friendship with an older contestant of the opposite sex'? [Not saying you don't, since you haven't stated that, but it's how most others have put it as well].

I've always gotten along better with older guys, so most people that I hang out with or talk to would have the same age difference between Chris and Ashleigh (I'm 23 now though). Maybe it's because I don't look like Ashleigh that no-one has ever thought it weird. It does make me wonder if it had been a young male + older female, or if Ashleigh had been conventionally unattractive and Chris conventionally attractive; would people feel the same way?

Nope they wouldn't. There would be no creepy Chris stuff at all. Also if Chris was gay and they had exactly the same friendship there would be no creepy Chris stuff. It's because of how they each look and their ages

The ironic thing is in BB8 Ziggy was 30 and Channelle was 18 and they had sex in the shower yet Ziggy wasn't called creepy and he out right pursued a relationship with a girl who was 12 years younger than him. Chris hasn't even made a move on Ashleigh tho you wouldn't guess it with the amount of sick comments you see on YouTube and Twitter about there friendship.

Pav does count as he cant bare to be away from Helen and Ash for a second.

Even staying on the same small bed as the pair of them while Helen massages Ash...now that was tragic. :joker:

..no I agree I don't think she is but I know she's said that she would always be on the side and support 'the underdog' which is why I think she's always been opposed to the 'cool clique' and I admire her for that because as one of the 'pretty girls' she could have so easily made her time in the house much more of a breeze by just settling into Helen's clique which I think others have done tbh...taken what they felt was the 'easy route'....

I've always found that geeky/nerdy girls are some of the most attractive girls there are!!!
It could be that they're usually intelligent and i always find intelligence enhances beauty. Loads of them are just down-right physically attractive too mind you! I love a girl with glasses!!! :love:
